and I also didn't know if there has been a same topic back then...
But I couldn't find one topic.

Does any of you play or know CHESS?
Ive been playin it since i was 15 and still a player...

My favorite chess piece is the Queen, coz' it has very versatile moves.
What's your chess piece?

My favourite piece is the knight, cause its movements are unique compared to the the boring diagonal, horizontal and vertical motions the other pieces have.

I would have to say Castle. It can go vertically and horizontally, and takes no shit from anyone.

Depends on what move I have to make obviously. At times Id prefer to keep my bishops over my queen.

The queen is so powerful that I cannot let my opponent hold on to it for long. Furthermore, I don't know how to use the Queen. At least I know what to do with Rooks and Bishops based on pawn structures. Does anyone know how to use the Queen effectively?

I would have to say the Pawn. Just to be unique, but they can be very useful in times. Whether it is helping you get back you're Queen or sacrificing it self for good. Even setting up a nice defense to help out.

I love aggressively attacking my opponent, and I'll usually sacrifice a few pieces to continue my attacks. since I love offense, I love the queen, though I'm willing to do a fair exchange IF I'm winning. apart from the queen, I like the knight, mostly because a hate a bishop (not bishops). in the endgame, my opponent seems to ALWAYS move all his pieces to the colored squares that my bishop can't attack; hence I like knights.

well, he called Kallen "a well played knight", but I think his favorite is the king

I play with my mates when we have time.

Of all the pieces i like the rook.

I really like KING. The match won't start without him, and one hell of a badass that'll be the last man standing.

i need to learn how to play this game properly. trying to make a comic that involves chess is tricky

I was at a culture fair last year, and they had chess masters you could play against. I tried to beat one and it got down to my king and one pawn, but he had his king and both rooks. So he ended up winning T.T but still i pride myself in getting that far.

My fav piece would be the queen if I had to make a choice.

My favorite piece is hands-down the knight. For starters, it's a horses's head in cheap sets (like the kind I use) and it has a unique move pattern. Aside from that knights are really fun to just jump around the board with.

I like chess but i rarely play nowadays. I always like playing it with friends and family, people who are at your same skill. Its never fun when you play with someone who is better because its no fun.

chess it's like a life,whichever piece you pick and the move you made decide your whole way of life
actually my fav piece is bishop because it's paired with the other bishop,and i can't make checkmate if i just had one pair hahaha
