Very hard to decide >_<
Both are great and Awesome
But in my opinion I like the computer drawn a bit more, because it is more straightly and it looks quite cooler. So I voted for the computerdrawn picture.
But the Handdrawn one have more...atmosphere (hard to put into words xD )
btw, where's the option for the guys which like both and can't decide ? :3

I'm pretty sure the second one is not digital. Only the toning is.
Also, relative to your question. Each of them is quite distinct. I absolutely love a nicely drawn and inked (and toned) piece, it just has that unique feeling to it. But I also love a lot of stuff that can only be achieved digitally. So you really can't compare them both.

Firstly i will say:
You are so Evil Mangaka, you compare the art of two of my favorite artist!
But i really cant decide which is better, only choose the one i like to see more.
I appreciate Hand drawn more, because to get the same great outcome you get with a PC takes more time and skill. If you mess up in inking you have to start over, if the shading is incorrect you really cant hit "Ctrl Alt Z"(photoshop undo).
But Digital still catches my eye more simply because there are things you can do with digital art that can never be accomplished with a pencil.
so digital brings the awesomeness, but i have mad respect for the pencil.

I personally like hand drawn art more than purely computer drawn.
I always thought of computer art to be something like a second stage in the digital art process. I used to draw on with a tablet for a while, but it didn't really feel right to me, So I prefer hand drawing, and if I feel like taking it to the next level, scan it in and work on it from there.

I prefer hand-drawn. It contains more texture imho.
Not that computer drawn doesn't have that, what with all the art programs and such.

I love sketchy hand drawn pictures. I think it's because it wasnt made to be "perfect". The mood in hand drawn pictures is totally different too, its hard to put it in words.
But ofcourse, digital art is better in some cases, but I usually find finished pictures a bit too sterile looking for my taste. I like it when a picture isnt perfect. The lines may be a bit sketchy, or the background may be just fast painted there, so the background isnt just white and boring. Or something.
But yeah, be it hand drawn or computer drawn, I usually like it more if its a bit sketchy, maybe still unfinished.
I myself mostly draw on computer, I got my wacom for free from my brother when he bought a new one, so drawing on computer is free. But even tho I like drawing on paper more, it costs. All the papers, inks, erasers, pencils and other stuff cost, and I'm poor as hell.
But when drawing on paper, it feels so much better than on computer. I mostly like it when I can get my hands dirty, literally. If I paint, I like to use my hands more than the brushes, and I love drawing with charcoal, and smudging with my fingers :> Its fun to have paint/charcoal or something all over my face, hands and other parts of my body when finished.
[size=10]but yay, I got some artists pastels from my little sister today, she doesnt like to draw with them, so she gave them to me! I can get messy while drawing <3[/h]
So. In the end, I like both. It really depends on what kind of art I'm looking at. In black and white manga I appreciate artists who draw by hand. in colored manga I like digital more. Sketches are beautiful either way, but hand drawn is slightly better. And so on. But mostly, if the picture is colored, I usually like digital more, if its from my computer screen. But, if I can see the picture on the paper in my hands, hand drawn wins.
And when drawing myself, on computer its easier, cheaper and I have more options. But when drawing on paper, it just feels so much better. Its the athmosphere while drawing. And also, drawing on paper makes me so much happier. Its like theraphy.
wall of text again~

If I were to agree more with you, it would be easier to copy and paste your opinion.
Just wondering, your brother gave you a tablet, your sister the pastels... just, everyone in your family is talented? sounds kinda cool! it would be nice to see a drawing of each one of you to see how different they are.

i draw freehand. im so used to it, its much easier and it exemplifies your work. Computer drawn is actually well respected because it requires the same devotion to it as handrawn. So OT, its impossible to compare both.

Most Drawings started on Hand Drawings, even i do drawing from hand before i got the job of a Anime Developer, Usually i draw it on hand then transfer it on the Computer for enhancement of graphics.

I love hand drawn images, I guess it's the art type guy in me. I'm a firm believer that the pencil can go and show places that not even a camera can go.
CG is awesome, nuff said.
All in all hand drawn for me is the way I'm voting.

Well, me, my big brother and 2 of my little sisters are more or less into artsy stuff. My parents and my other older brother arent so talented, or more like, they arent talented at all :D
And my brother draws mostly anything, and he's like over 9000 times better drawing than any other person I know.
And my little sisters mostly draw cute stuff, some anime too.
I on the other hand am a shameful person, drawing prons. Or more likely half naked women, or naked women, or sex. But anyways, stuff I cant show to just anyone :D
(thanks for the rep + btw, I suppose its from you)

I like them both. I don't care how its made as long as the art is good and to my liking.I voted for hand drawn. Any body can have good computer skills to make to make computer drawings but only a few can make them hand drawn and make those drawings beautiful.

I voted for hand drawn since I really like the atmosphere of it, but computer drawn is usually a lot more practical.

I say both. I don't really have a preference between the two. It really all just comes down to how you use the tools given to you for the purpose of drawing. But if you really had to make me choose between these two I would have to say hand drawn but that's mostly because I really like the artists style as well.
Both do a really good job at what they do though.

well each one has its perks, I hand draw so I'll vote for that but not everybody hand draws and others are better a digital computer drawing that with hand

I voted for digital since im on that field.
Reading other opinions somehow gives me enough idea and the only thing that I can assure is that everyone have their own taste. Whether its digital or hand drawn, aslong as it doesnt tickles your interest then its nothing but a drawing. The main 2 artist that had been voted here are both in high level but since the showed artwork was in manga type / tone type, honestly the hand drawn stands well since the basic thing that will be considered is the "draft" form of the artwork. Pencil artwork really stands well compared to digital since its NATURAL on eyes while digital which uses pixels to make a block is strong on eyes. But try making a comparison of a colored artwork using a comic markers and a pure digital artwork, there will be a big difference and im sure of it :]
