That would be interesting. In order for the secession to be considered constitutional it has to meet an extremely broad range of conditions, anywhere from born out of the right to revolution or a peaceful agreement based on a majority. A majority of what? No one has any idea.
For the very reason that not only the legality of secession is questionable, but the broad ranges of supposedly acceptable methods for secession, I really doubt it can happen.
There are several states that have rules and regulations based on the concept of a seceded state, but as far as I know they are only obligatory on the state level, and the federal government, for lack of a better term, scoffs at them. Then there is Georgia, Georgia has balls. Georgia passed a resolution that states they have the right to nullify federal laws in their state, and any attempt Congress makes to limit the usage and traffic of firearms gives the state the right to declare the federal government non-existent and secede.

Half right, some comes from the Colorado river, the rest from the Friant/Madera and San Luis canals which connects with California Aqueduct.

I'm from Central Cali. I remeber when driving to southern Cali and seeing signs on what use to be areas that produced a lot. Some would say things like "man made dustbowl", etc. etc.

Freaking hilarious is what this is. IIRC hasn't this sort of thing been up in the air for some time, I mean I recall hearing stuff about this back in the 90s and then again a few years later. Seem there's always going to be a group of people that want to split the state I live in into two. It really doesn't matter to me, since regardless of the outcome "South" California will still have outrageous budget issues and lots of other shit to deal with.
