I, for one, love being served works of art in both vision and taste, so post some examples of creative plating here!
Here are a some of mine. Nothing too fancy; I just did these to amuse myself.

sirloin steak with bearnaise sauce and roasted potatoes!
yeah...and you are learning to be a what now?
Your coloring needs some improvement. Where is green? Orange? Red?
Where are my balance nutrients?
All I'm seeing is meat color. Protein, starch and sugar.
I lost my appetite already, chief!
p.s. no offense, but since you like to give other people crap so I thought you might like other people giving you some back as well.

lol we didn't have time to cook a vegetable considering we had to make 2 sauces and we also had to watch the chef demo which took like an hour and we only had an hour and a half to do our knife cuts make the Hollandaise and Bearnaise roast the potatoes and clean up the whole kitchen it was a very rushed day.
Well, my bad. I didn't know that. Otherwise, steaks look good!

I'm more of a function than form type of guy. But when I was in France, it was nice to be treated to food that looked as good as it tasted. As a single male living alone, food doesn't equal enjoyment. It equals substance.
But that's why I have a cookbook, so I can learn to make me some delicious looking food.
