Deadliest Catch

I notice that there's not a topic of this show but the past two weeks have been tough for me. If anyone has watch the show this past season and kept up with the show Capt. Phil Harris of the Cornilla Marie passed away back in Feb of this year and the last three episodes showed his his battle after his brain surgury and his untimely death.
I have been watching this show since it the beginning and have all the seasons on DVD but this season has been tough to watch. If anyone wants to make a post about the show (good, bad, or ugly) go right ahead.
May your pots be full of king crab Capt. Harris
(December 19, 1956 – February 9, 2010)

What is it about exactly?Catching crabs, I think.
pretty much but those crabs are huge!
Deadliest Catch is a documentary/reality television series produced by Original Productions for the Discovery Channel. It portrays the real life events aboard fishing vessels in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and C. opilio crab fishing seasons.
The Aleutian Islands port of Dutch Harbor (located in Unalaska, Alaska) is the base of operations for the fishing fleet. The show's name derives from the inherent high risk of injury or death the crews face due to the hazardous work environment and nature of the work itself.

Usually I watched the last 5 minutes because it's recorded for a little bit for Mythbusters that airs around midnight here. Just after the Deadliest Catch.
Recently I edited the record timer so it is also recorded.
found this as well:
In February 2008, Sig Hansen and Liquid Dragon Studios announced the upcoming release of a video game for Xbox 360 and PC inspired by the Deadliest Catch series entitled Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm. Liquid Dragon designers spent time with the Hansens on the Northwestern in the safety of Dutch Harbor and out on the Bering Sea to give them a sense of the real conditions that needed to be duplicated in the game. The game itself features the Northwestern, Cornelia Marie, and Sea Star as crab boats that can be chosen by the player, along with the Bering Star and the Shellfish. On June 17, 2008, the game was released in stores around North America.
A second game, titled Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos, was announced in June 2010

I'm going to look for the rest of the seasons since it's Season 6 that's currently airing.
