pardon me for sounding like a whiny bitch.... but seriously it really messes with me. Okay for instance, my depression is from a girl i relay have feelings for but she does not want to go back out with me cause of a emotional break down i had when i found out my mother was dying. So i left her to be alone n not let anyone get caught up in my depression. My mother passed away 2 years ago but i was hoping to see if shed go out with me again but shes not ready for a bf...... Sooooo now i feel like a dick.

I suffer from bouts of depression every now and then, It usually gets better though after I do some thinking, but ya, when you are in the middle of it it sucks

there are times when I get depressed also, mostly when I talk about things from my past. that and a very dark thought process.

Depression is a very hard thing to live with and, for some perspective on the girl in questions' view, a very hard thing to be around.
I've been on both sides. I suffer from rapid-cycling bipolar(It often has many symptoms similar to depression), and I've been with people who range from mildly to chronically depressed.
The key, and this is going to sound horribly cliched, don't give in. Whether you can see it or not, things could be much worse. Be glad for the things you have and the things you don't.

Mod Note: After reading through the opening post, I believe the main focus of discussion is that of the relationship between the thread starter and the girl in question. Therefore, I will be moving this thread to the Love, Romance and Relationship section.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Yes, yes it is.
As one who's suffered it (apparently chronically so) for over a decade, it DOES suck.

I royally got pwned when it comes to my genetic makeup. Anxiety disorders, OCD and a host of other shit. In other words, I know the feeling.

I am always happy no matter what the outcome is. Just gotta look at life with your chin up and don't sweat the bad things.

Just a few month ago, I thought of finally meeting my GF again after a long month of practical working, but when i got back she ignored me for 2 whole month (imagine how patient i was) and i went back to my practical work for another 6 weeks. On the last week of my practicals this is the answer i get after continues questioning
"I`m getting engaged to someone else and i`m trying to forget about you, Sorry and bye"
I was super depressed that night and luckily my buddies were there and cheered me up all night playing MUGEN.
Yeah Shit happens in real life, just dont choose the wrong way to end your depression (suicide etc)

Also, Tegumi it seems Waar has broke your clever image replyI'd consider it less clever and more subtle. I have serious doubts that many people will get it.

Depression can be a drag, it really is incredible how much power our mind has over our ability to function. The only thing I can suggest is you try to fill your days doing things that you feel are important to you, that make you feel life is worth living. Exercise also helps a lot, as endorphins really can help a person feel good about things in general.
