Exhilirating music and a sense for business have dominated Scott Landriault's career since he started out. Humble beginnings as a 7-year-old choir boy in Chilliwack, Ishiyama (as he is known in the DJ world) progressed through all areas of music. In high school he played saxophone in the jazz band and tampered with chords on his bass guitar. Diversifying his taste in melody and grooves has been a passion for Scott. The end of high school was the end of his classical music career, and he quickly found his true passion; Electronica.Ishiyama was quick to consume everything he could in the music world, searching for the right sound. Three good years of spinning, promoting, and organizing events has made this DJ a definite contender in Vancouver's diverse music scene.
After getting a Google+ invite from Scott, he asked me to check out his Facebook Dj page and listen to some of the music he's created. I was pretty impressed with the above track and I think I'll be using it as some quality gaming music. Haven't had much time to check out the rest of the music on his Facebook page, but it's all free so you can if you want to. Let me know what you think.
