Do females feel anything when reading hentai

Ahem...this might have been asked before, and it does certainly sound a little awkward to ask. But nevertheless, I cannot find a better place to ask this than anywhere else.

Anyway, my question is, as the title says. I have a female friend who actively reads hentai or watch it, but she adamantly tells me she doesn't feel anything, not aroused or anything. And she tells me that depictions of women fapping in hentai universes are fake. So it lead me to come to the conclusion that girls who read these stuff done feel anything nor do they fap. That was years ago. And shamefully, I still haven't found the answer yet. Wonder if this wondrous community can enlighten me.

Not all people are created equal so don't just apply the logic of one person onto the rest of the female species lol.

To answer your question men and women can get aroused when reading hentai, some more or less then others and there are those who feel nothing at all. As a woman I know there are works I get aroused from, but I can also read hentai and not feel the need to get off, rather I can just appreciate it as an art since it is in essence. Other times I'll use my mind and fantasize like any horny perv would.

Basically just think rationally if you or others say they get off to it then this can apply to anyone regardless of gender, your friend is one case where it's not appealing or doing it for her for whatever reason.

Why does gender play a part in who gets horny off of porn? If a guy jacks off to a pair of boobs, dicks, vaginas, tentacles, etc then women can and will too. Makes me wonder why people think women wouldn't feel anything, hell a lot of good porn is made by women (aka author Cuvie). Some people like porn and even sex more then others, while some people don't need it or even care. Known both genders that felt nothing or very little in relation to smut or just could care less. Most I've known get horny from some kind of eroticism. Hentai is an acquired taste since its both a specific kind of art and can be a bit bizzare or extreme for those not use to it.

Women like yaoi for the good looking men, drama/romance, and the whole "forbidden love" aspect. I don't love yaoi, but when I read it I find appeal in the hot and steamy romance it can offer (a lot are cheesy though, hard to find one I personally enjoy sometimes). Also just shows how open minded a person is if they can enjoy that kind of stuff. it's not really a gender thing. some people are aroused by some things and others are not, hentai can be viewed and enjoyed simply as an art form by some people (though as someone who can't even read a few pages without getting incredibly aroused, i find it hard to believe however it is true)!
