Do straight men read yaoi?

Recently I began reading yaoi again.
I had stopped for a while as I saw something I shouldn't have and was way too young for it. Hehehe curiosity...=P
But lately this question has been in my mind.
I see a bunch of girls (usually straight but there are homo and bi too) and guys (homo and bi) in forums commenting about how the characters look hot or how they liked the scene. However heterosexual males are rare!
So... are there any straight men who enjoy reading yaoi because they love the story and/or the art? If you do, would you tell your 'otaku' friends? Or would that put you on the stage for jokes?
Do you find it weird when straight people read homoerotic material?
My great friend, who is a girl (straight) and also an otaku, does not enjoy yaoi but she's a great fan of yuri. She says she is more comfortable reading yuri than yaoi.
Like her, there may be men out there who enjoy yaoi.

PS._ Sorry if there was (is) already an (active) thread like this.

Pure Hetero here, Yaoi makes me cringe.

I have some male net friends, who are bi and reads them.
Quote from one of them: "Yuuki is normal and boring." (Well sorry for being straight)

And I know a bunch of females irl who's into yaoi.

Whatever you fancy.

inb4:
REAL MEN READS YAOI.

I'm curious about this..
Mostly woman tend to read yaoi. I haven't ever seen a boy read yaoi. (.//.)

I'd consider myself straight IRL. Regardless, I like 2D traps x guys a lot, and I did read some "actual" yaoi and found it surprisingly exciting. I don't think I'd feel awkward about having yaoi fapping sessions but I don't see myself going for a guy's body IRL unless it would be some ridiculously cute crossdresser trap, which is a different story.

Oh, I should also mention that I like 2D yuri a lot, while it's not all that great IRL either.

I'm straight and I like trap/yaoi. Yaoi is just 2 fictional guys getting hot and heavy. No, after reading yaoi I don't feel I should date men because I enjoy yaoi. I enjoy the story and because its something different. The thought of me having a romantic relationship with another guy in real life makes me feel awkward and gives me shivers.

I'll very very VERY rarely read a yaoi manga (but it has to be a trap), but I'm fine with yaoi.
It doesn't make me cringe or disgust me, I just don't look for it.

As for other men: I know people who are straight and watch gay/yaoi stuff, and some who don't - its a personal thing.

I'm straight but I love traps and I read trap yaoi.

Yes they do.

I consider myself hetero well since I've never been attracted to a real guy but i quite enjoy yaoi trap and other crap so i'd assume there are others that do as well.

I'm straight, and I find yaoi a bit too...eh. it's not for me... I'm getting pretty bored or yuri, too. Only yuri I read is ones that involve toys and/or futa.

A trap is fine, too

I have 2 dudes on my avi!

but in all seriousness, the only yaoi I read has at least 1 trap in it.

Mostly traps, but if there's one with good artstyle and not that sappy bl shit with their over-the-top stuff, I'll read it and fap to it.

Maybe traps.

Also I only like yuri hentai. Regular yuri stories bore me frankly. Mushy romantic stuff never really appealed to me unless I really really like the characters invovled.

Also, I hear gay guys rarely read yaoi because of how unrealistic it is frankly. It might be silly to say a manga is unrealistic but it often goes to ridiculous levels. Such as yaoi pairings between characters in series that never even meet or absolutely hate each other.

No, not for me, i stay away from yaoi and traps.
Actually to be precise even straight content would turn me off if to much of "male" is visible. I prefer when manga is concentrated on female parts :)

That said i don't think it would make you "gay" if you do read it.
What makes you gay is if you prefer to sleep only whit men as a man.
Just like watching movie where protagonist kills people doesn't make you killer.

I've read some Yaoi and in all honesty it wasn't all that bad. That being said I dislike traps and would never actually search for the stuff.
