Do women classify men into different archetypes?
0
I was talking with my friend the other day and we got on the topic of how some men prefer certain types of women and the different "classifications". He was telling me how he liked the "Athletic Girl" type or the "Girl Next Door" type. There was also the "High Class Girl" and even an "Indie Girl" category. It seemed similar to the anime character archetypes like Tsundere or the Clumsy One.
So that got me thinking...Do women have their own categories that they place men in? Is there like a "Oh that one's a total Uptown boy" or the Mysterious type or something along those lines? If so, what are your categories?

When you take a look at the personality types and personal styles, there are a lot of combinations.
But really, it boils down to a "Yes, No and Maybe".
1. Yeah I like him/her
2. Never in a million years
3. I don't think anything of them...but maybe they can win me over with their personality."
Personality types can also get complex, I like to boil it down to 4 basic types
1. The dominant leader
2. Caring, nurturing and supportive
3. Creative, spontaneous, performer, usually extraverted
4. Organized, plans, and sticks to the plan, usually introverted
Everyone has bits of of them all, but one or 2 of these types are usually predominant.

Classifications are for guys with small penises.
As a general rule, when you have a large penis like myself, the ladies stop caring about what classification you're in when you're using it on them.

Not really. If anything, I classify them by MAYBE their choice in hobbies or clothing. But that's once I know them.

[font=comic sans ms]I don't do that in real life,it just seems silly to me like they're characters and not actual people. I never met a woman who does that either.

Maybe some women do that, but nobody that I know. If a guy is cute, then he is cute. Lots of 'types' of boys can be appealing... Although I guess I have met some women that aren't at all attracted to really skinny guys, whereas I am. XD But I don't think they do archetypes, just body types I guess? Oooh, I think hairstyle sort of determines it too. Hahaa, but I usually find someone more attractive once I know them, and I would never 'type' them, that just seems inhumane or something.

Well no one can really tell how they act by just looks... Most of the girls I know including me just go by the hairstyle, face, body, and clothing...
One of my friends are into unmanly and emo-types
And another one likes manly asians...
I don't really have any preference though...

Heck yes, might not always admit it but yeah there are categories. But I suppose for girls those categories aren't as well defined as guy's.
There's everything from the average American jock to cheesy romance novel and beyond. Some of the names might just be the same as guys: the boy next door, cute beach guy, mysterious and dark, even indie boy. Just varies by person, same as guys.
