My family is Christian and I mean hardcore Christian; in fact, they're so hardcore Christian they acknowledge the birth of Jesus in Bethelehem did not in fact happen in December at all but somewhere around end of August-start of September and instead they symbolically celebrate the birth of the Saviour of the World in Every Christian's heart.
I'm atheist, though, and (because I thankfully know the songs and prayers)I follow along, keeping my beliefs under cover.

Christmas is fun.....i know but that's only for children. We adults have the hardship w/ money to give our children present. So...for me christmas is a good way to spent money

D: I don't believe in Santa Claus and I hate holiday cheer and I'm a terrible person
Way too many holidays during December in my family (including my birthday) I'm thinking of declaring June 21st 'The sane x-mas'

When I was 2 years old, I asked my mother if Santa was real; she said no and thus I have never celebrated a single Christmas day in my life..............

Christmas, halloween, easter, and thanksgiving are all dying. Ten years ago, easter eggs were hidden inside trees, and under bushes. Now adays they are just lying out in the open and its a run and get it. When i was 7 people didn't buy a costume for halloween unless they didn't have the time to make one. Nowadays store bought costumes are the norm. My mom still remembers when people were first asked to work on christmas eve at kmart. Nowadays, there are some shops open on christmas day! I worry for the next generation's holidays. All i know is christmas will reachmy children, and both hanaka and kwanza are going strong.

Yes, me and my family celebrate it but, as the years passed, from "best holiday of the year" it became "just another holiday"... I mean, there are some positive points like reuniting with your family, giving/receveing gifts, but i can't really explain... It doesn't have the same impact that it had one day...
