Do you ever read anime spoilers before watching?

No. I believe it would ruin a potentially good story.

Most of the time I do read about anime before I actually watch them, I wouldn't like to buy/download a series only to find it distasteful (and it did happen in the past). It doesn't really bother me.

After one troublesome occasion with a rom com I was enjoying in which the the whiny protagonist didn't choose the girl I wanted him to, I started looking at quick summaries for select rom coms (and that genre alone) to make sure he makes the right (my) choice.

I just read thenplot that's it.

Learning about spoilers from a particular anime kills any drive I have to watch it. I like when the plot twist decides to be all "Surprise buttsex!" on me. It ruins the fun when you know what's going to happen.

I only read spoilers for when the anime counterpart ends. Like for High School DxD. I read mostly everything just because the story left me hanging after the final episode. I usually do if a manga/light novel version is accessible and/or the story really interests me.

I'm not 100% on the spoilers and everything. But I do read up on an anime before I watch, just to know what kind of genre it is. Sometimes I don't feel like going through a fuck like BoogiePop Phantom, RaXephon, Neon Genesis Evangelion or Deadman Wonderland unprepared, y'know?

If the question was, do I go on wikipedia and read the entire episode from point A to B, before actually watching it? I'd have to say no. I like to be surprised.

So I guess, I really like to read the brief summaries of the shows or the episode summary if anything.

Almost all the time. I don't like to waste my time with a terrible anime or manga.

I have never read any spoilers for any anime… cause i already know whats gonna happen in the next episode

Don't know if watching screenshots in Sankaku Complex counts as reading, but yeah.

I usually watch movies or anime without knowing anything about them.

If I know what's going to happen then what's the point in watching any further? I read the synopsis and find out the genre, that's about it really.

It's different in the case of Manga though. I don't mind reading a manga series then going and watching the anime adaptation, even though I know what's coming.

I really regret reading spoilers if the Manga/Light Novel aren't the same with the Anime it just pisses me off...Ah! the memories Y_Y

I only read them if I don't plan on watching it. It allows me to see what I didn't watch, but if I do plan on watching it then I don't want to have plot points revealed to me.

I try not to, but sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't.
I can still play a game/watch an anime with knowledge of a spoiler, I don't mind them.
