Do you have a nest?
Do you have a nest

So I'm snuggled here in my little nest, as I like to call it, the air turned off, and the cool night air blowing in, bringing the sounds of grasshoppers and the night. comfortable as anything. And I'm wondering does everyone here have a nest that they like to curl up into and relax?
My Nest is a chair and half that I have in my little room, that I sit and watch TV and old movies in. a lot of pillows and some soft ambient sounds coming from the window, as the air comes in tingling my bare legs it's just relaxing.

Think of it as someplace you like to curl up into a ball in and relax, and let the outside world melt away.

The edge of my bed. There are two windows where my bed is and I like to lie there on hot days listening to music and enjoying the breeze.

My room in general counts I think.
Either my bed or the chair I have in here as well.
Especially on dark rainy days.

I have a recliner loveseat, so my dogs can sit next to me. there are two end tables in a row next to it for my PC and other junk. it's lined up so just past the monitor is the TV across the room so i can see both at the same time.

My nest is my bed. However, i would make it like a fortress by making huge walls of pillows and cushions from the couch, then drape a huge blanket over my nest. Once I am inside of my nest-castle I usually fall asleep on the bed inside of it. Then when i would awake the next afternoon...I find that my nest-castle's walls has been toppled by night movement <.<...

Think of it as someplace you like to curl up into a ball in and relax, and let the outside world melt away. As far as any animal is concerned, a nest is a place specifically created to lay eggs and/or nurse their young, or a structure built to seek temporary refuge from the elements.
Humans typically live in houses, so unless you are homeless, the idea of having a nest is fucking ridiculous. Psychologically, people who build nests or view something arbitrary as a nest are incapable of dealing what the fuck is around them, I know because I used to be a nester.
If you're human and feel that a nest is necessary to escape from the bullshit of life, or just to find a place of your own, you might want to consider renting an apartment or something.
To be really real, if you don't have any money and there aren't any open beds at a shelter, find yourself a box. Living on the streets might not have the convenience of walls and all that other shit you get from houses, but as a species we are able to make due with what we have. If you're homeless and can't figure out how to survive, kill yourself quickly. That way, you'll still have meat on your bones... and in death, you'll provide other homeless people with a certain amount of sustenance.
