Used to play Magic : The gathering, but got bored and cards are too expensive so I quitted. And oh, I gave my Yugi-Oh cards to my cousins.

                        Spoiler:
Do I still like it? Not really, but I certainly did back in 6th grade up until about the end of 12th grade. It was definitely a waste of time and at the same time fun. It was not just a hobby but a way of life then. To spend every free time coming up with new strategies to defeat others, to find cards online or in hobby stores that can help one's own deck, and to look for card protectors to prolong the good conditions of the cards.
To meet new friends and to make new rivals.
That was the core meaning of playing Yu-Gi-Oh!
Spoiler:
My main deck, go figure its a Warrior Deck with three Command Knights at its core. I have my two dice for rolls, a Pikachu coin for flips, a red deck box, divider for the main and side decks, my card protectors that looks nice (I have maid ones but its for my Spellcaster), and my mat that is Maple Story. I obviously got the mat long ago... Im missing a calculator but LP's are easy to calculate so no worries there.

Use to play YuGioh and won a local tournament before, which was pretty cool. I went to a statewide tournament just to duel others and did great, but those who participated in the tournament were some pretty hardcore duelers o_o
I use to collect Pokemon cards long long ago, but never really learned how to play.

A lot of kids who collected Pokemon cards when they were younger never knew how to play. I was the same, but I played the PTCG Gameboy Game recently and learned that it was a fairly easy game. I'm sure it's become a bit more complex now that there are 5 generations and several sets and editions, but I'm sure it's still pretty easy to play.
Yu-Gi-Oh always felt odd to play. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy either. The gameplay just felt goofy to me. I was interested for a while, but that didn't last.
MTG is what I went with, and that's what I stayed with. I was too poor to play more than one TCG.

Grade 6 Pokemon. 1st H-S Magic the Gathering[Influence by my cousin]. 3rd H-S Basketball Card. 4th H-S I give it all to my Grade 6 cousin. I am bored of them

I used to play M:TG when I was a teenager. This comic shop I played at sold old, unwanted cards for as low as ten cents each. I built a lot of killer decks for under five bucks.
I was good, and had a blast playing... but slowly but surely I noticed that people with little skill could win is they they spent big money on cheap/overpowered cards. When a guy was bragging about spending $100 on one card, it was time for me to get out.
Then I spent all my money on Battle Angel Alita mangas.. lol

Yes, I´m an MTG player, I like to play Drafts and Pre-releases (´cause I win them), I´ve played
Yu-gi-oh!, but no more (it´s more expensive than Magic), I collect Pokemon cards too, I´ve played one of Starwars sometime, but not too much people know about it and was hard to understand.
For the Magic players, the pre-release of Scars of Mirrodin (new set) will be in october, you can meet other players there. And my favorite decks are black (reanimate T1), white/blue (merfolks agro), and red/black (reanimate T1.5).
For the Yu-gi-oh! players, I had a "drainlife deck" (I was the only one with a deck like that), but I sell it separatelly, and just for collection, I´m seeking for a japanese Dark Magician Girl.
Finaly, I don´f like Duel Masters, is like mixing MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh! games.

Back then I was playing Digimon Card Battle and Yu-Gi-OH! Especially Yu-Gi-OH!
Played Yugi the Destiny, Kaibe the Revenge, Joey the Passion, and Yu-Gi-OH GX. That was a really fun experience, I didn't spend any money on the trading cards though, it's costly and I'm not into collecting those kinds of things.

I used to play Yugioh and magic, and collected pokemon for the hell of it, and still have all most of my cards. when I was in elementary school some douche I thought was my friend asked to "look at my deck" he took some cards right before he got off the bus, and tried to say the next day he didn't know what I was talking about, and after talking to his parents and my principal to get them back, nothing was done. I decided to get off at his stop next time he was on the bus... next thing I knew I was sitting in a cop car for two hours for beating his ass and stealing his cards(that were originally fucking mine!). I'll never forget what happened after that though, my dad bought me a huge box of cards and then when we got home spanked me.
