I can give you an answer, but it's a little difficult for me to vote on this.

If the thread is short and serious enough for me to join in on a discussion, I read through the whole thing. Other than that, I mainly skim through.

Too much work. In my time here I've learned to either skim for shit that I want to say in order to avoid redundancies, or remember the people whose posts I should generally ignore as they are either dumb or boring motherfuckers.

I often don't read anything before posing. I just make sure that the pose is appropriate for the photo being taken.

Sometimes, it depends on what the thread is. If it's an image thread I'll skim until I find something I want or I'll just backup the whole thread and eventually post a .zip of the whole thing. If it's an actual discussion I and I actually have something to say I'll try and read the whole thing (I sometimes have the whole thing open in tabs) before I reply.

Most of the time I do unless it has more than 10 pages.

I was thinking about this the other day.
Depending on what the topic is I usually don't read the whole thread, especially if it is IB. However, if it is a nosebleed image thread I will scan the entire thread for personal extractions. There are also other exceptions such as if it affects, relates to or merely interests me.

I read the first post to stay on topic then the last page to see if I want to quote someone.

If it looks short then I will most likely read 'em.

Yes, most of the time. However, when the thread spans more than ten pages I am less likely to read every post.
