Do you think that guys can be tsundere?

Being tsundere means you portray yourself, as the opposite of your true self, correct?
Examples of this would be, a guy who pretends to be rough and violent - inside, just wants to be loved.
Or, a guy who is all like feminine n stuff on the inside, but his outer persona is considered masculine, and the guy has a masculine/baby face.
Or, perhaps a guy who pretends to be all moody and emotional deep down is a sociopath, that truly feels nothing at all!
Or perhaps the ex gangster type, that just wants to live a normal life, and is jealous of all those who do so because deep down its all he ever wanted but his family was messed up and spent ages 8-17 in a group home and 17-18 and a half, was homeless in the murder capital of canada - starting over means leaving the country due to mistakes, and enemies, but deep down he was never cut out for all this; he's a teddy bear.
I have a friend that is all of those things at different times.
Is he tsundere?

110% yes I know since when I'm with friends I portray myself as tough as I can but in real life I try to be nice to everyone and can worry about everything.

Why wouldn't there be male tsundere's, that is just a sexist view that only women can hide there personality.

Of course we can. I know I've hidden my personality and feelings from time to time for one reason or another.

I've been compared to Kagami from Lucky Star. I thought about it and realized that it is a disturbing match.

OF COURSE!!!
I am one of those happy-go lucky jokers that won't stop babbling his mouth and always has fun .. but deep down I am quite mature and serious about life and am extremely intelligent about things my fellow peers don't know.
So yes ... men often portray themselves opposite to who they are really are.
There is no much difference between women and men, in fact, we have much more in common than the world believes .. our only difference is gender, and that's pretty much it.

No reason for it to be a just used on women when a lot of people, regardless of gender, have displayed such a personality sometimes in their lives. So yeah, there can be such thing as a tsundere guy.

A stoic guy can be Tsundere at times. When they can't break out of their mold of stoic-ness (or bubble, whatever it is), it leads to some pretty amusing Tsundere moments.

Yasaka Mahiro from the anime "Haiyore! Nyaruko-san" is a tsundere in my opinion.
Point is, they can, but it'll be weird to see one.

Not in the "classic tsudere" way, but yeah.
Like others said it, it's called acting Macho. Guys won't/can't let their feelings out as much as girls do.
We also have a harder time with them. Girls are better at handling their emotions. We just lock them up and act as if they weren't there.
Well, most of us.

But deep inside I love em'. So yeah, guys can be Tsun

essentially someone who is tsundere is someone who follows the saying "thou dost protest too much"
so yea, that applies to anyone really. tsundere just refers to characters in anime and manga in particular.
