Not particularly. That being said, having an interest in East Asian culture [pop culture or otherwise] does, I think, make you more likely to go out with an Asian girl as they're more likely to share that interest. Physical preference is, I think, a whole different beast.

My thoughts exactly. The phrase "more willing" seriously gives the wrong idea to the topic on which you're speaking--and if you did mean it that way, I think it's fairly offensive.
But I digress. Anime hasn't had an effect on who I find more attractive at all--no one looks like anime characters, so why would it? The only effect, if at all, that anime has had on me regarding love/attraction/etc. would be the glorification and romanticization of a perfect couple and finding "true love". That's it.

I was pretty indifferent before, but I guess that after being introduced to their world, I think I learned to appreciate their beauty.

To an extent, yes. However, it really depends on body and personality. Also, the teeth of some Asian women aren't exactly perfect... Look around and you'll see.

LOL I don't think that watching anime, hentai, reading manga, etc has given me "asian fever" no. It's just a preference thing.

1. Good portion of anime characters don't look Asian
2. Sure the voices sound nice but I have no idea what's said

I am Asian and have already been willing to date Asians. I do not prefer Japanese over any other type. It just depends on them, not their race.

No it doesn't. The sad fact is a lot of white people want to date asians (Japanese specifically) because they like anime and Japanese stuff. Man, I've even heard from a couple people on forums that they are specifically looking for a JAPANESE wife. ._. Good luck with that people. But then again, some Japanese women specifically look for a white gaijin husband, so I guess it works out?

I'm Asian, and I kinda wish to date a Japanese just for the culture of it (and of course food...miso soup, egg rolls, soba...kimono and yukata ^^)
I wish my country can walk around with traditional clothes on holiday event or festivals like Japanese women can... :(
Then again, my country's traditional cloth isn't exactly suited for that kind of situation and doesn't look as good as either kimono or yukata for both guys or girls xD
(Yes, I'm a yukata/kimono con, just can't take my eyes off of them)

I don't think it would be very wise to eat kimonos nor yukatas.

I think it can be possible to be attracted to asian people after watching tons of animes, etc.
When I started to watch animes and read mangas, I constantly got more interested in asian culture (especially japan). So I started to read blogs and books about it, looked at pictures, etc.
I was actually longing for Asia (firstly because of my obsession with Anime/Manga) - so could it be possible that this desire is subconsciously connecting to the people there as well? Like longing for the country, culture and therefore for the people (either because you automatically like/admire them or even think they could be your "gateway" into that "dream world" of yours?)
Well, I don't exactly know but what I know is that I only realized after manga/anime and hence the research of japan how good-looking some asian people can be :P

Hmm... Dating asians? Specifically Japanese? After watching Anime? Don't think so. Not even sure why anime would turn on its viewers to Japanese girls. Must be the voices as they sure sound nice. :)

No effect because I was attracted to Asian guys even before I started liking anime, but I'm open to other races,too.

We can't even compare Asians to Anime. It's just that Anime is created by the Japanese and they tend to put Anime in a Japanese setting or even give Japanese names to the characters. However, there ARE attractive Asians with nice breasts and not with the squinting eyes. As an Asian, I fit none of the stereotypes. So I believe that there are Asians that don't fit into the stereotypes.
