I've been suggested many times to purchase the Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet, as it's supposed to be very dependable, and have great quality. I actually order mine just today, and I'll be getting it next week, hopefully.
So, I think this one is a good choice. Other here have actually purchased this item as well, and I'm sure they have more reliable information than myself. ^_^

Get a Wacom tablet. Its the best one out there. If you have the money go get the Intuos 4 series. Get the medium size, much more easier to work with. If you can't afford the Intuos series then go get the Bamboo series. If you have lots of cash go get the Cintiq.

I was actually considering getting the Wacom Bamboo tablet, but i wasn't sure about it. But you guys cleared up my dilemma, so thanks.
I'll be ordering one soon then.

I have a Genius G-Pen 4500. It was really inexpensive and it works really well with photoshop. Of course I don't know anything about tablets, I just got what I could afford. Got it off walmart.com for under $40 and I haven't had any trouble out of it!

I also should get a tablet soon but I know If I were to get one Id go with the bamboo mainly for the price and it would be my first one ever.

That one definitely has its price tag going for it, although me and a lot of others can assure you that the Wacom Bamboo Pen is fantastic.
