Mustn't Run Away...
Just like the topic asks , how many users on fakku participate , or are at least really into drifting, and if so what do you drive. I just recently fixed the engine in my supra ,and I'm dying to get a chance to get back into the sport..that and I'm restoring an old rx7 and it's looking promising .

Tried it once with my friend's Subaru Legacy, spun off and almost wrecked the car. Might try it again when I get my license and my own car.

I dont drift, I just power slide. Im not sure but I (personally) think drifting wears off the tires more.

Yeah that isn't a personal opinion. Drifting definetly wears your tires down. I went on a drifting course once (paid and in a car with a driver in the passenger seat)
I only drifted like three time after three laps and like 10 turns every lap. But those three times were pretty cool.

I don't think drifting is for everyone. First it's dangerous(yes, you can die from doing it). Second it's expensive. I live in a colder temperature area where rear wheel drive car in the winter drives like a suicidal coffin. Besides, there aren't anymore good drifting cars being made anymore. If you want a car that's good for drifting, look into the older cars like RX-7 or S13, S15, they are light weight and easier to shift weight.
posted a pretty good race link of S15 vs Skyline vs RX-7

I've tried it a few times, but because my car is a FF and doesn't have a whole lot of horses behind it, I slide only just a little bit, but I still find it exhilarating to do, and definitely to watch the pros go at it.
I really want to buy my friend's FC3S RX-7, but those engines are freakin' hard to maintain...

I do! I don't really intend to brag but it's not really too hard to do; even a well-taught child can do things like these. I used to drift an A31 Cefiro with an RB20DET motor and JIC Coilovers and I participated in a few competitions; it's a really fun experience :D

I used to drift but went through too many transmissions and tires.
Since then I've been into Rallying and Grip Driving.
