Driving habits

I'll usually just drive with my left hand around 8o'clock and my elbow resting on the door. I have my seat set fairly close to the wheel and the back is slightly leaned back. I'll stop completely for stop signs and I'll slow down for yellow lights. I tend to accelerate quickly but I don't speed very often. I tend to forget to signal for turns. I always try to put a good amount of space between the me and the car in front of me. I used to play with the radio a lot but then I totaled my grandmother's car so here lately I'll put a cd in before leaving and I won't change it.

Well, I like doing powerslides in the snow, I aim for puddles when its raining, I speed up at yellow lights, I go 5 mph below the speed limit when a cop is around, and I keep the stereo loud enough so cars down the block can hear my screamo goodness! I love doing that last part in my buildings parking garage :)
Also, I noticed something else that i do today. When Im going around a bend, I punch the gas about midway through the turn... Apparently, most people dont do that.

I'm the prick that embarrasses you in front of your friends by blowing you away on mountain roads in an underpowered car.

I'm a total sunday driver. I always drive exactly the speed limit, or one kph below. I never speed, ever. I always keep 2+ seconds distance. I always stop for pedestrians and vehicles trying to pull into my lane from side-roads. And so forth. I'm every rice racer's worst nightmare. I find it highly amusing to have an asshole behind me getting a heart attack because I'm not letting him harass me into speeding.
I always do cabbie stops and starts. Manual for the win.
I sit rather upright. My vehicle isn't a fucking pullman coach. It's a car.
The position of my hands varies depending on situation and vehicle driven.

I lean the seat way back, left hand at 6, right hand on the shifter. automatic is for sissies.I have my seat straighter, but beyond that I'm also a 6'o clock, manual driver. My car's quite old (going 10 years), but with little mileage in it so I can leave a lot of newer wannabes in the dust.
Although I accelerate aggressively and my driving's dynamic, I don't speed, I always use my signals, I turn on the low beam even during the day. I'm also a fan of coasting - engine breaking - when approaching red lights. A lot of people don't get this so, they leave braking to the last moment, then they have to start their car from a standstill when it turns green... which they're slow at.
Finally I often switch the car into 5th gear even when in the city if I go 50 km/h. I'm not gona accelerate any more, so I might as well use less petrol.
...oh, almost forget: I drive the same with the cops around. I find it really irritating that most drivers suddenly slow down and practically shit their pants when they're around.

Well I speed nearly all the time. I always hit near 90s-100s and I even have a popo detector(tells you if a police car is near). I've been doing this for at least 3 years and I've only been pulled over once.

I have annoying habit of making some "loud noise" purposely with my engine (don't know what's the name for it) when I over take a another car. Louder if the Car that was in front of me was SERIOUSLY slow, and didn't even try to let me pass.

I have this habit of pretending to be drumming when hearing my music in the car while I drive. It's like my morning ritual now in a way once I get ready to go somewhere in the morning. I know it's dangerous and stuff, in fact almost gotten into so many crashes due to this annoying habit. But my hands move on impulse and I can't drive without music on....

I usually drive with one hand, I have a stick shift so I change gears a lot, i usually just keep my hand on it

I usually drive with my knees, talking on a cell phone with one hand and hold my Xtra Large Coffee in the other, needless to say I have only gotten into 12 accidents this year.

I've decided that I shouldn't drive because even if I took it 100% serious, I'd inevitably drive off the road, or do something equally stupid, for the sake of the experience. That's just the type of person I am.

My driving habits have changed significantly since I moved near Atlanta and I have to deal with the drivers down here. I think it's an unwritten rule down here that whatever the speed limit is, you do at least 10-15 MPH more than what it actually is. You'll be on a highway going through Atlanta, and it'll say 55MPH and people are doing 80MPH.
So I'm almost always speeding, usually have music up pretty loud unless someone is in the car with me. I wear my seat belt 95% of the time, sometimes I don't.
Sometimes if I have to I'll be a more aggressive driver and force my way out in lanes (if it's busy and there's a lot of traffic, you have to or you'll sit forever)
