Episode 1
3
A few days ago Mike mentioned that we were working on something new, and this is it! The two of us already get together and watch all of the anime we're following each week, so we decided we would try talking about it on camera and seeing what happened. This is the result. I recommend watching the shows below beforehand if you haven't so we don't spoil anything.
In this first episode we talk about...
[spacer=4]Toriko - Episode 1, Kaiji S2 - Episode 1, Nichijou - Episode 1
UPDATE: Here are some links that will jump directly to the point in the video where we discuss each anime: Toriko, Kaiji, and Nichijou. We'll probably record the next episode tomorrow because we are a little behind and have to catchup a bit.. In the next episode we will be talking about Hanasaku Iroha, Tiger & Bunny, and an undecided third anime, so be sure to watch them ahead of time.

And to answer some questions ahead of time..
How often will you be doing this?
We are planning to release two episodes every week. In each episode we will talk about 2-3 different anime.
Why is the episode 15 minutes long?
This is due to the YouTube's uploading restrictions on video length, which is no more than 15 minutes.
Where did you get the idea to do this?
I have wanted to do this for the past year or so but I never found anyone badass enough to handle the job with me, and then Mike came along. The idea came from watching Diggnation (http://revision3.com/diggnation) a show where hosts Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht sit down and talk about the trending stories on Digg.
What is the name of the show?
At the moment there is no name for this show, suggestions are welcome.

Can't wait to see your views about "HanaIro" and "Tiger and Bunny".
Third anime that I recommend for this season.
Steins;Gate
A Sci-fi anime about Time traveling.
[C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control (Just call it C)
Basically "Credit Card hell" meets battle story.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (Just call it AnoHana)
Another Good Drama, Slice of Life anime, with a strong friendship theme.
I don't have any ideas for the name of your new show though. lol
It needs a nice Jingle though.

I think you should review Tiger&Bunny. This show really is hilarious and has an original plot different from other anime.
Also do not forget "selemat pagi" and "selemat malam" things from Nichijou.I laughed so much when my own language is spoken in an anime show.
Keep up the great job!

I really like the fact that you guys did this, it adds a major down to earth, more human element to the administration of this website, especially for anyone that won't get the chance to meet you guys in person.
Now for some constructive criticism (because no praise should go without right? lol)
a) you definitely want to try looking more at the camera (your audience), then at each other when discussing.. since "it's all about us" conceptually, and its just natural that we want to feel like we are really included in the conversation.
b) you also might want to try rehearsing, with a "quick cut" approach between the best takes of each piece of commentary. this will help your delivery seem much more polished, and "bang on" so to speak (i.e. take a look at sxephil on youtube, though his delivery is very quick with how he talks), and it will definitely help with some of the nervousness / unsurity that I can see from you guys every now and then. this may take away from the much more more natural, improv feel you guys have atm, but it could make for a much more confident seeming, entertaining delivery in the long run (plus by rehearsing, you may find yourself coming up with really awesome ways of doing / saying things -- i.e. comedic timing and the like).
-- other than that, great job guys, will be looking forward to see how future episodes of your show pan out! :3
