Experimenting with Coloring

I made this with a black and white Arcrueid render and Saber Render. At first it was a plain wall paper of the two together but my friend suggest i add some colour to it, and this is the end product i decide to add black lines and a "Type-Moon" render in the background so it wouldnt look so empty, i rushed the coloring. Please leave comments

I don't like the pink at the bottom, but they rest of it is really good!

Use another layer to color rather than floodfilling the lineart layer. The problem with floodfill as coloring is that you get gaps (as can be clearly seen in the hair and pink skirt). Floodfill works best if the source lineart is a just 2 bit with no shades of gray.

If you're using MS paint to color (this is the only paint program that I know of that doesn't have layers), you can try out GIMP instead.
