If Facebook is getting a movie then I want Fakku to get one, a highly dramatized version of Jacob's life please. (and I want Bruce Willis to play him.)Seconded. but how about Stallone instead of Willis?
Chuck Norris is perfect for Jacob. Their beards DID give birth to FAKKU (most of you will never get this since it's a "fakku oldfag" joke, harhar)

I dunno why everyone thinks its stupid. It isn't like the movie is going to be about farms and comments and liking videos your friends link you to. Its about how some college got semi drunk, thought "What if I make this thing where everyone can make their own webpage and communicate with each other?". He was drunk and bold enough to try it, and before he knew it he stumbled onto an opportunity to gain women, fame, and fortune. Dealing with billions of dollars, he got in over his head, had to play ball with the big boys, and still came out on top.
Thats pretty epic.

When you put it that way, it sounds okay. But most people will just look at title and think, "A movie about Facebook? What the fuck?". And I have to admit, I'm still not interested about this at all.

Maybe because facebook is something everyone uses, there is nothing majestic about it and it seems silly to have a dramatic story about its orgins.
However, the movie should still be great as it is directed by David Fincher - aka the guy behind Fight Club, Se7en, and the Curious case of Benjamin Button.
Team that up with Aaron Sorkin who wrote the screenplay for A Few Good Men, The American President, and Charlie Wilson's War - chances are this movie is going to be pretty darn good.

then who's gonna play as raze and nikon?
We should organise the casting call right away.
Im still trying to decide what director would effictively capture the image that we portray... John Carpenter? Stanley Kubrick? We need some pezazz!!
Stanley Kubrick, definitely!

Isn't that new movie 'Catfish' about some dudes with facebook too? Maybe it will become a genre. Imagine going into a store 10 years from now and going 'yes, where is the facebook section?' and its nessled inbetween the teeny-bopper vampire section and the rebooted horror movies section. So glad the world wont be here in 2012 so we dont have to become a world like that :P

Holy shit. Looks like Facebook the movie wasn't an epic fail. more like epic successThe Social Network (2010)

Fresh:95

Average Rating:9.3/10
Consensus: Impeccably scripted, beautifully directed, and filled with fine performances, The Social Network is a riveting, ambitious example of modern filmmaking at its finest.
Yep it actually looks like its one of the best of the year, who da thunk it...
Well im glad this isnt a movie thats going to destroy David Finchers career, but I know the stigma that going to go along wth this movie, that it looks lika a computer movie, looks independantly produced etc, and it wont take in a great deal of money, thus we wont see many more like it. Whether that is a good or bad thing ill leave up to you guys, and I do hope it makes money but, its not going to reach TWILIGHT numbers, so more vampire movies!

I went to Target today with my brother. I was at the book section and there was sooo many vampire books. -_-
I picked one up (not Twilight btw) and looked at the cover and guessed what it was about. "Hmm, lets see, forbidden love, addiction to blood, she doesn't wanna hurt him..." I turned it around I was just about right. lol
After putting it down I went to the other side and got You Better Not Cry because this lady recommended it to me.
Anyway, on topic, a few of my friends said it was actually good. I might go see it.

I already don't wanna live in this world (time period to be exact).
I wish I lived in the 90's!
People today like too much shit.
Music: Justen Beaver
Movies: Twilight
TV: Jersey Shore -_-
The 90's was better
Music: Nirvana
Movies: Fight Club
TV: Politically Incorrect
There's a lot more stuff in those categories but you get my point.

just got back not to long ago from seeing it...definetely a good film. though it did make me feel stupid with how everything was put together through code.
two things i learned from this film
1. Mark Zuckerburg is to damn smart for his own good.
and
2. The Creator of Napster is a jackass.
all together 4/5

It feels like the idea of this movie is gonna exploit the current generation of people. Because what I see afterwards is stupid mothers giving their 'expert opinions' about how this movie reflects on our generation when you know? Its not even made by people like us. I heard that the creator of fb is even boycotting this movie. I hope this movie doesn't do well in the box office because it shouldn't.
