FAKKU DREAMS
Whats your dream status on Fakku?
0
I HAVE A DREAM TO BE A FAKKU ARTIST/UPLOADER.
What the fuck do the artists even do though
Or to get up to 9001 posts, either one works.
What about you guys? Have you guys wanted to become a special status on Fakku?

I'd like to be able to at least edit author names, so I can give manga marked "Unknown" the right author mark! -3-'

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
I'll be perfectly fine with getting to Elder (Without postwhoring my way up there, as seems to be the trend)
I can't draw, so no Artist, I have nothing to upload, already an Elite, and I can't translate a language I don't know.
So there you go.

I dream to at least make it to Elite someday, but I suspect that wont be for a while. I mean I have been a member for almost a year, yet I still only have less than 100 posts. oh well...
I'm also working on some of my own art, so hopefully I'll be a FAKKU! artist soon.

Is being a translator a two-part job?
Someone translates it, and another re-looks over it to make sure the subs actually makes sense in english?
Cause I wouldn't mind doing the latter personally.
And dude I WANT TO BE JACOBS FAVORITE FOREVER ;A;

Well, the latter would be more of a proofreader... (and proofreading can be done by basically anyone that has a firm understanding of the English language)
And you can translate manga too, you know >_>
Most of the time, as far as I have observed it, the whole translation process is split into parts with both scanlating and subbing. While subbing requires timing and encoding and such, editing a manga requires redrawing, cleaning, etc.
I can't edit anything worth shit, to be honest. But I don't need to, I got my underlings to do that for me, gahahaha!

Kaho's also a great choice for the next one.
Good luck on the fight for the title then

Thanks HT, perhaps you can ask Jacob to add Fakku Writer on title list ..
so you can try to achieve it ..
as well as me try to obtain Fakku Artist ,
it is a shame because there are a lot of good writer on fakku ... but doesn't earn any special title (as far as i see)

The one who's worthy is Angelus Lapsus, Mibuchiha, Joe-kun, and Uzumaki101 in my opinion.
Especially Angelus Lapsus, too bad that amazing guy left FAKKU.

I never thought of that.
Are there any spots currently open?

Do you know the requirements, what they do, and if they have a spot open right now?

Well, if you can speak Jap, you're welcome basically everywhere because translators are highly sought-after.
Editing... well, some groups let beginners take a stab at it, but the "market" is usually full with good ones. So unless you have some luck finding a group that is beginner-friendly, better have some skills to show off.
I see groups looking for translators all the time, while slots for editors are almost always full.
