Man, lots of older bands have awesome bass lines in it. You should just look harder for the good stuff.

Haha ok i will admit i Do like some older bands.
Like Ozzy, Iron Madden, (Some Of) Poison, Aero Smith, and a few our just to name a few, but idk the todays music just has something different to it you know.
Like the Video i posted. Im a Die Hard A Day To Remember fan and i always will be, it seem like thier music specks to me in a way. :/ hard to explain.

Iron Maiden is good. So's Aerosmith.

But I know what you're saying. You feel an emotional bond with the bands you like, and that's something I can't disagree with.
