What is your favorite convenience store?

What is your favorite convenience store and why? I personally like none of them. Employees of said convenience stores are bitchy, lazy, and incompetent. The stores are always filthy. Sometimes I'll even find breads that have been expired for weeks on end, sandwiches that were meant to be thrown out days ago. No matter what niche services they offer, they all tend to disappoint me. Not to mention the price of the "convenience" they offer being called into question too. As in, I'm not so sure how convenient these cesspools truly are.

Meh FastDay in Hong Kong Airport, every time I come by either for a connecting flight or just some shopping around city I always take time to stop by for some food and drinks for the day/next flight which are usually far beyond the par set by duty free, prices are pretty "convenient" for an airport and although the staff didn't exactly speak English they were surely more courteous than your average American connivence clerk.

I've never found convenience stores to be of any use every thing is at least twice the price. I'd rather do with out and wait till I can go else where.
In the uk I'm only aware of one branch of stores (Spar) and the rest are none branded, but the none branded ones are normally quite crappy selling limited stuff like just selling cigarettes, sweets, and news papers. I've always sort of wondered how they make any money because I would of thought most people would try and be cost effective and buy it from some where else.

There aren't any convenience stores where I live now since this is a REALLY small town >_> But I really liked Seven Eleven, my ex-Girlfriend's Family owned a branch back before I moved and I used to go there often. I liked the slushies and such.

I live in an area where there is none of those stores, the closest thing to a Convince store is the Chill's Quick Stop or Liberty Gas Stations here in town.

I'm surprised most of you voted 7-Eleven. They are indeed numerous throughout the world, but I can't help but feel sick when I walk into certain 7-Eleven stores and find them dirty cesspools, y'know? Gah, I dunno.

Sheetz.
Sorta of a regional gas station/convenience store. Strangely they still are boxed out east of Philly to my knowledge. The price of merchandise is still overly high, but they have a nice little card to get 3 cents off a gallon of gas, some extra perks thrown in. They serve decent food at reasonable prices.

Well since im from the philippines, 7-11 has been here for as long as i can remember. Then zillions of competitions came up. Such as Mini Stop, Finds. Etc... But I love seven eleven for the Slurpys, but i also love ministop cause its just a walk away from my house. I dont really know, so ill just choose both. Im left in denial from picking from one of the two....

Curious and Wondering
7-11. I worked there once as a summer job and left me with a deep respect for those working in 24-hour convenience stores. I've been patronizing 7-11s for 8 years now. I usually order hot chocolate or buy some fruit juice and chips.
I was lucky to have been assigned back then to a kind middle-aged man who values cleanliness and respect. The store is always clean and smelling fresh, employees freshly shaved and groomed, and the coffee always hot.
But it's sad that my first 7-11 experience was already that high, because after that most of the 7-11s I've been in looked like crap compared to the store I've worked in. The cleaner ones are usually in the places thick with foot traffic (except markets) and the ones attached to hotels, while the seedy ones are usually the stores near markets or places where there's not much people.
