What are some of your favorite mobster movies?

mine is scarface and the godfather.

Godfather though it was more a series than just A "movie".

Reservoir Dogs...an all star cast, with a hell of alot of violence. whats not to like about this movie?

I'm a big fan of these kinds of films. Well, the best mobster films according to my taste are Scarface, The Godfather series (sans 3, not my type), American Gangster and Public Enemies.

Goodfellas & The Departed from the top of my head.
Never thought The Godfather was anything special and i never saw the second one, which i really wanna do btw.

Am I the only one who actually like Godfather 3? Seems like everybody here hates poor Michael.

@KLoWn compared to the book the movie kinda sucked, it couldn't properly show Vito Corleone's awesomeness in his rise to power.

goodfellas, casino, the godfather series, and the chinese (Cantonese) young and dangerous series (though it was more about street thugs and mafia style organized crime)

It's not Michael I hate. It's the bad acting and horrid script I hate of Godfather 3.
They should have ended when the book ended, and not be greedy and self write another one, bleh. Also, Al Pacino's acting in that one was also a let down. What happened to him in it I wonder.
