I am no expert when it comes to alcohol but what are your favorites or regular drinks? Whether its for a meal, a casual drink with friends or partying; what's your poison?
I am more of a vodka guy that also likes to mix it up sometimes. But I don't like beer.
Also any suggestions on any drinks? I am looking for a drink suitable for a casual night with some friends and I was thinking Strongbow (cider) or Baileys Irish Cream. Nothing too strong and something on the sweet side.

I usually drink lager or cider when I'm out. Will drink Spirits if they're provided or bought for me because they're expensive and I'm a cheapskate.
I don't like the taste of Wine and it doesn't help that I've had bad experiences with it.

I have a passion for mixed drinks. My dad is the sort of classy guy who knows a lot about wines and liquor in general, and he's taught me a good bit about mixing tasty things. I am quite fond of gin with basil, simple syrup and lime but that's a little complicated for everyday drinking. In general, beer's my drink of choice. Preferably Weizenbier or something like that. Nothing too heavy.

I'm more of a beer guy than a liquor guy. I love trying new kinds of beers when i go out. My go to beer is Magic Hat #9, and my favorite is Delirium Nocturnum.
When I do drink Liquor i usually drink Rum, Captain Morgan is my favorite brand of rum. Usually mix it, captain and coke is awesome.

Beer is disgusting. Wine sucks. Vodka is amazing. I prefer it straight although though with orange juice is still pretty good. Though I hardly ever drink.

Tequila for me. Gotta love that bite.
Beer tastes bad to me most of the time and wine is ok.

Whisky is my main poison. Brandies and Rums come second, with Cognacs close behind.
Rum and coke is what I take as my beer equivalent. There isn't many beers that I enjoy.
Naturally- given my tastes- nights out turn into very expensive affairs.
For particular drinks, Johnny Blue and Gold, Talisker 25, Glenlivet 15, and Cragganmore 12 are my current favourites.
Another note- I am severely annoyed that Johnny has discontinued its Green label, because I haven't had a chance to buy one for my collection.

Ive never tried any of the Johnny Walkers except for Red label, But I have had some Glenlivet because my relatives are avid Scotch Drinkers, I recently found Johnny Walker Curtains as well, it was 2 dollars so I had to buy it.

White Russian (...Not sure which one to vote for.)
But I can only drink a small glass of a White Russian. And beer/wine makes me throw-up, even if I only has a sip.

I dont like the taste of alcohol drinks in general, but I usually drink beer when I drink. If I want something that tastes a little bit better, its guinness, but usually I drink Karhu (a finnish beer).
Oh, and jägermeister is quite good too, especially with some battery.

Red is the base. My buddy tells me it's a good mixer, but I only drink my Scotch neat.
Scale:
Red -> Black -> Green -> Gold -> Blue
However, one of the malts they used for Green has fallen out of production I hear- so the Gold effectively takes its place, with the new Platinum replacing Gold.
All Johnnie variants are blended whiskies. Some purists may scoff blends, but that's just elitist bullshit. If you can manage it, Gold label ('bout 70-80 bucks) is one smooooth drink.
Blue label is- as Freak attests- amazing. But it's probably something only for enthusiasts. And costs upwards 180 smackers.

I'd go for beer and spirits, never a fan of wine.
My favourite beer would be Erdinger (German beer), next comes Asahi, then Heineken.
I do like ciders too, but my favourite cider is Rekordelig (Sweden).
I'm not really a fan of hard liquor, but when I do drink them, Absinthe would be my best mate.
