Figma Joint fix?
0
It seems that two of my Figma's are broken now.
My Shana figure that I brought in New York City, her head broke off.... I was moving her head down to try and put the base on her back when it snapped, cracking her head off. I think half of her "neck" is still inside her body since all I have is her head and joint inside the head.
My second one, my Konata Winter Uniform one, her left arm has almost fallen off, right around the joint ball. I'm worried about moving the arm much and keep it elevated where it's not noticeable.
So now I'm wondering, I got really good deals on these two figures (I'm 99.9% sure these are the real Figma's), and is there anyway to fix them? What can I use since I was told model glue would work but there is all types of model glue now a days from what I found out. Pretty much what is the best way to fix the two figures?

Same thing happened with my Konata Winter uniform figure, but it was fake. Did you try to take off the head of your Shana figure and it broke that way, or did it just break? Fake Figma heads break really easily.

No, in fact I pushed her head down (like putting your head down) really hard to try and get the stand in her back when it snapped. I know I pushed down on it too hard. I know Shana is real since I brought her from a store in New York City's Union Square when I went on vacation there that sells Figures, Anime stuff, Sci-fi figures, comics, etc.
Konata I'm not sure about, more like 90% to be honest, I brought her online on eBay but did it from a US seller (or was it Japan, I can't remember, I know I did not buy her from China) and all the logo's and stuff are on her box but I know how a lot of times you just don't know.

I bought my Konata figure off eBay and it was fake, the easiest way to tell if they are fake is that the box for fake figures is usually darker colored and the joints on the figures look different and are hard to move.

I had the same joint problem with my fake Konata

For ur case u probably happen to get the "unfortunate genuine figma batch" :(
Some figmas released batches are made poorly due to large quantity requirements...As long as the material for the joints aren't properly done up figma tends to break, deform, or even becomes rigid to the point of breaking...
If u source online, *haven't tried*, but likely u'll find many cases with figma limbs broken off. I know a couple of my friends who broke their tsukasa winter uniform arm...some with their fate figma legs @_@...basically just depends on luck
I only have 2 figmas, tsukasa and kagami winter uniform, so far nothing broken. Just try not to make then do *EXPLICIT* poses which goes beyond human possiblities and u should be fine with ur figmas :)

im glad this has not happened to me yet iv'e bout 5 and only 1 joint has broke (sabers right sword hand)
also to tell if they are genuine figmas look for a holographic sticker somewhere on the box thats usually one of the best ways to tell

If its a real figma, then I would just take it to a professional.

Yeah... they are real figma's... just found out both of them were since I found the hologram on the boxes. I do know there is those model stores around my area that sells Warhammer figures, they might have some idea on what type of glue to use. Might bring in one of them or show off one that still works (like my Kagami summer uniform) to show them what I'm talking about.

i did it in the past with a old pvc toy and it melted it i can only guess that it will do the same to figma

Yup plz DO NOT use super glue on ur Figurines/Figmas/Chibis as it is very detrimental. Their pvc material might not be able to take the strong chemical oin the super glue

I live in the United States, near Washington DC and OK, I get it... no using glue on them. That is what my father told me to try since he use to build models. So no glue then.

try tack-it from faber castle (I don't know what's it call for this kind of product because i've seen same product from other company with yellow color), i find it at book store.
It look like chewing gum (after you chew it). It sticky but it can remove easily. I always use it for tighten up the loose gunpla's joint.
