Figures you have/going to have

@Exam: Those are wonderful figurines you have in your collection. Unfortunately, like what Temcor has said, some of us cannot display figurines of such nature anywhere within the house, either because of our significant other or parents. :DLets not forget kids, especially the neighbour's that will come to visit to play with you or just to annoy you.
...and I'm still single.

The following pictures are taken with a rather crappy cam, so don't mind them. By the way if there are anyone who can guide me on fixing bad quality photos (Grainyness, mostly) please tell~
Alter's 1/8 Fate Testarossa

Bad Lighting, sorry.
GSC's non-scaled figma Takamachi Nanoha Barrier Jacket Ver.

Skewed quality, can't help it.
Kotobukiya's 1/12 Rei BMX trick Ver.

The bike seat kinda snapped off -.- Haven't got around fixing it
Alter's non-scaled Reinforce Zwei

Small boss is apparently quite big in figure form.
GSC's 1/8 Shuraki Trinity Box 01 Mishiro Akatsuki

One of my fav figures... Discounting the *Quotes Heisei Democracy* helicopter hair.
GSC's 1/8 Shuraki Trinity Box 02 Liu Meifeng

Figure of very good make... The casting off parts were damn difficult to get off, though.
GSC's 1/8 Shuraki Trinity Box 05 Rize

Rize! The best figure in my collection!
Kotobukiya's 1/7 Kousaka Tamaki Ruffle bikini Ver.

Everyone needs another figure of Tama-nee in bikinis~
Kotobukiya's Shana

Shana with a melonpan... Make that 2. The books in the background are the mangas that I bought on impulse/not scanlated in english yet. Haruhi light novels and a deck of Shana poker cards on the right side.
Also preordered these

@FS-fanHow do you manage the dust that collects?
Dust doesn't collect as much as you think it would, for me atleast. But when it does, only select parts of the figures accumulate it, (Parts directly in the path of gravity's force on settling dust, like the head and base. Basically any part of the figure visibile in a bird's eye view). For figures in my shelfs, as oppsoed to on top of them, dust is less of an issue. Though every few months I dust the shelves and figures.
I've been meaning to buy a glass display case but can't muster the funds because I keep buying figures. Its pretty cyclical like that.

Are you ordering any figurines still?
By figurines, you mean things like gashopan and trading figures? I don't purchase them as often but when a series catches my eye, I might. I'm looking at this Kojika set by CMS right now. I'm concentrating on scale PVCs at the moment though.

No i mean PVCs lol. My list is now too demanding for my financial status. Which is why i have no glass case neither T_T

The word "figurine" denotes the size of figure as comparably small; the size of gashapon or trading figures (a few inches at best). You wouldn't call a 1/7 or 1/8 scale figure a "figurine" anymore than you would a 1/1 perfect scale.
The word "figure" encompasses all sizes of PVCs, but "figurine" is specifically for the small and/or non-scale like trading and collection figures. So to answer your original question, these are the figures which I have preordered:
†¢GSC's 1/7 Hime PVC
†¢Movic's 1/7 String Bikini Papipo Covergirl PVC
†¢Sol International's 1/8 Yoko PVC
†¢Yamato's 1/6 Nasubi-Chan PVC

†¢President Japan Co.'s Otoha, Eika, and Karen (3 PVCs)(Regular Ver.)
†¢Megahouse's 1/8 Elea ni Theta PVC

I beg to differ. I believe figure and figurines are the same thing so lets like, not get too technical into the words, unless you really insist.
Your Kojika pic link is dead btw.

Figures != Figurines.

Shana mini figures
I know my shelves are poorly organized. I wanted to compress everything into only two shelves... but since I have more figures on the way, I'll have to expand it anyway, so when I do I will make things look a little nicer.
In a couple days, I'll be bringing home a set of Lucky Star mini nendoroid trading figures, a Shana whose stats I can't remember, and an older Manaka Komaki. I will update my shelf picture when I get them home.
I have a Nekomiya Nono (Yotsunoha) and a Noumi Kudryavka (Little Busters) on preorder. I've also ordered a Blanc Niege, which should have been here ages ago... I'm not sure when I'll finally see it...
While I'm here, I'd like to ask the Figma owners a couple questions: First of all, I'm not a big fan of doll joints - I find them rather ugly.... But the Figmas look really nice, so I am tempted to get them anyway. What I'd like to know is; do the joints stand out alot or do you not notice them much (The low res images you see online don't do them justice)? Also, what sort of replacable/optional parts do they typically come with?
Hmm... I think regardless of the answer I'll have to get Kagamin. And Rin. And maybe Mikuru. And Tsukasa for good measure. Oh, and having both Nanoha and Fate would be wonderful.....

Well isin't this a coincidence? I had just bought the figam Nanoha yesterday! And really I have to admit, it literally is one of the best posable figures i have in my collection. The figure itself is highly detailed, while the joints are slightly stiff, they hold poses very well. Also, they are fairly discreet and if you don't make them do anything overboard like the matrix or something, the joints will not show up at all. If you like i can try to post some pics when i have time.
Also, for all those who get annoyed by dusting every few weeks, i reccomend buying a glass case to hold all the figures. My Alter Fate Tesstarossa (with the flowing cape) collects dust like crazy when out of the case, but every since i had put here in there (1 year now), I have not had to dust here once! They are relatively cheap (bout 80 USD) so i highly reccomend one!

An $80 display box is fine for one or two figures of great importance but this is what I'm looking into for my whole collection.
Around $1,400

FS-fan, i'm not arguing with you over here about vocabulary. It's like how so many people think Hentai is the correct word to use instead of H/Ero when it's not (let's not argue about this too). And frankly, why the hostility? I believe i wasn't rude to you at all.
Secondly, i just wanna tell you your Kojika picture can't be seen from my browser. I know it's not a hyper-link. I even traced the image and it's still dead.
Nice cabinet you're aiming for though.
Stonwalt: I love the figmas. Have every one of them till date and has doubles for most of them. Really really impressive possibility. The cloth texture is made of rubber, thus making it look more realistic while posing. However, the ball joins dooo stick out a little once in a while.

I believe it important that the correct words are used, in the correct way, to maintain credibility and intelligence of discussion. If there weren't set definitions for things, and people called whatever they wanted by whatever name, we would get nowhere.
