In England, the ham we get are in packets and the scent it gives when you open it is awful.

Yeah I know the ones you mean. The cheap, cooked thin wafer ham from tesco. Not all Wafer Ham gives off that stink though, usually when it makes a pong it means it's gone off.

A proper joint of ham is alot nicer.

I am curious as to what this "wafer ham" you speak of is like...

Well it's wafer thin and it's quite moist. They add alot of water to it. It's basically processed meat.

This is the packaging;

I can't find a picture of the ham itself, but think "square" and "thin", kinda like processed cheese but not yellow or in individual packets.

Fair enough if you have a phobia of fish I guess, but shellfish tastes of sand? Lolno. Sandwiches which have been windswept at the beach tastes of sand! :P

My dad gets pickled Cockles from the supermarket on our weekly shop. 3 quid. Bit expensive for a small jar, but the cockles taste like prawns.

It's not really a phobia, its just that when I was young, every time I eat fish those bone thingies always hurt me..... And for the shellfish thingy, its probably just how my mom cooks it,lol, when I eat outside though like Mandarin or something, I can eat fish & shellfish just fine.

Oh I see... yeah I don't like fish for their bones as well. I do love the smell of fresh fish though... go to a fish market and my god, my mouth is watering like no tomorrow

I learned really fast how to properly eat fish. No bones would stop me! Bwahaha!
But you know what? My mouth would water even more imagining eating them. Mmhmmm, whether it would be stewed, curried, baked....

I just hate them I guess. I always imagine squids as something from another planet or something. Plus they have this weird flat bone/spine/whatever. NO. Just no.

For shellfish, I just can't stand the smell; that's it.
