For them people who can lucid dream...

Has anyone tried the "dream kick" song from inception?
I was just thinking about that recently,wondering if it could actually work.
I could only imagine what happens when it plays since most of us seen it already.

Well from what I understand about that movie, Nolan spent a lot of time "researching" everything that went into to the movie.

No, I haven't tried it, but...uh...

Its really tempting, but I must master lucid dreaming first.

I can Lucid dream well enough.. but have a hard time remember stuff from the real-world, still im trying it tonight, and will post something soon!

I heard people set it as an alarm on their phone, and just have a headset on, so they can hear it when them alarm goes off

Can you multidream like have 2 dreams or more going at the exact same time?

Alright so i was able to do it, After a month >_>

I haven't seen Incepction, but after seeing a few clips i might pick it up.

So, the dream is of me standing in the middle of a street, rather busy and there is alot of traffic, the first musical que hits and everyone notices it, they start forming lines, groups, and walking toghether, as it continues they all give passing-glances at me, i don't respond to any.

The second musical que hits - the start forming toghether into one group and collect toghether, they all now fully recognize me and just start looking, they ask my questions, which i can't make out clearly. they want more and more answers from me.

they start fading, and only one of them is left, he simply tells me that he doesn't want to go with everyone, and repeats it again in a forgien language, as the music starts fading, he starts speaking more and more in the forgien language. as it ends Im left alone, and soon wake up


other than that it felt similar to Veritigo, except your expecting it.

Finally, an answer, and an obscure one like I was hoping.

Just watched Inception,

im shocked really. when you said he did research, I had no idea how well this could of turned out.

and for my dream to what inception did, its was pretty similar, (which did freak me out as i watched the movie)

only thing was that the dream (subconscience) can recogize and go against the dreamer. other than that...

Dreak kicks with music are can work as well as a slab in the face. ^_^

might also wanna say that I don't believe i've ever been in someone elses dream, or them being in mine, I think that would deffinitly change some of the outcome, regonized person or not.

I did this by accident. I fell asleep while listening to music(does that count?) But I woke up without having a dream(I know that's not possible since we always have dreams but we just can't remember it.)

Its more like get out of one dream fall right into another in between 'false' wake ups.

I remember a dream [more like nightmare] of mine that ran like this. However I didn't know I was stuck in a loop until I had a false wake up into another dream.

Basically, I was stuck trying to run away from this thing, then when it caught me, I used my little trick to quickly wake up out of a dream [because at that point in lucid dreaming, I began to start feeling the pain inflicted on me]. I woke up in my room and it was morning, however, there was a small difference to the atmosphere of the place then I quickly went into panic which then triggered another nightmare. This nightmare was slightly different, but still I did the trick again and woke up head under the covers. Then it got worse. I looked around and well to better describe this it looked like a complete palette swap of my room, The structure was the same but it had a 'inside giant alien spaceship' look to it.

So yea, it's only very awesome if it is not a nightmare.

Thankfully, I get lucid dream on most of my wet dream.
And you know, having absolute control on your wet dream feels extremely good, I have trouble waking up afterwards.

That sounds like it would be absolutely awesome.
I can see why you'd have trouble waking up.

I have no idea if this count but I was dreaming that there was this weird white ghost stalking me. It looked like Candlejack but only white. No clothes or anything. So as it started me I confronted it in the dream. It then stated it was going to kill me so ofcourse I ran. I fell into some kind of whole and saw it fly towards me. When it hit me I could feel the pressure on my chest as it pushed me downwards. I then woke up, still having the chest pains from it "pushing" me.
It wasn't fun, that's what I can say.

I had a dream last night about jane austen .... and all the characters from her books. really weird. I felt they were the characters even thought they were faceless, they were empty but with substance

I have these lucid dreams very often....
I wake up with tears in my eyes because I dreamed of sad things...
I wake up wet all over because a dragon sprayed water on me...
I dreamed of hot things and I wake up red all over due to the heat...
I dreamed of doing EXTREME sports and I wake up with stronger muscles...

Lucid dreams are said to be one of the most mysterious things out there...
