I love mochi fried or grilled (yaki mochi) but my favourite is red bean-filled mochi.
Anyway, if you wanna try it fried, just get a glob of mochi, dip it in some batter, then deep fry it for a couple of seconds. It's pretty good. For grilled mochi, make sure to oil the mochi well, then grill both sides until they get the nice grill marks.

I'm glad to see that there are some people who like mochi. I remember the last time I offer someone mochi they didn't like it. I wonder if I can draw up a mochi character?

I've had the chance to try a cheesecake and a chocolate covered strawberry mochi recently. Both really good.

I love mochi, fried mochi also sounds interesting. The last time I tried to share mochi with my friends, they all didn't like it for some reason except for one. I like Green tea mochi a lot but I also like a lot of the other flavours

I think people who don't like mochi are bothered by the texture. At least, that's what my friend told me. (He's the only one who doesn't like mochi among my friends! Boo!)
Oh and as for mochi characters, there's also the Hetalia mochi-countries:

But fried battered mochi is win, or even just plain mochi fried without the batter and dipped in a bit of sugar.
