GARfest: Do you want another?

Those of you who know what it is need not read the rest of this thread. GARfest is a forum game (with polls on the front page) where two animated characters battle to see who is most GAR. GAR is when a character is manlier than the sun, manlier than if bruce lee and chuck norris had children(it could happen), manlier than punching an asteroid back into outer space to save the world/kittens everywhere while playing an electric guitar that shoots flames 20 feet into the sky, riding a shark, which is also on fire. It's run over 3 to 4 months and offers a wide array of debates and discussion for users to really show their love for the GAR Gods we all know and adore.

Pointless to have a poll. People who know what it is will want it back as long as it is improved, people who don't know what it is don't really have a reason to answer the poll since they can't have something "back" if they've never had it before.

No dawg, people that have never heard of it may want it, but if there isn't an overwhelming "yes" there is no fucking reason to spend 4 months doing something no one cares about.

It would be fun to see how it turns out. But nonetheless Fakku! will remain the same with or without it.....

You should do it either way, silent majority and all that. Also, people joined Fakku just because of GARfest and those people aren't going to be voting in this poll, are they?

Don't make it last four months. That's a quarter of a year sir, way too long but see sig.

The first competition lasted 3 months and that was with less competitors.

I never really got into Garfest like everyone else but I know people really do enjoy the game. so I am for it I might even join in.

perhaps do more games with less competitors, wont take as long. Like mote mote, do seasons (plus new characters pop up all the time).

Suggestion (again): 48 contestants. First round is 3 per match. It will last 16 days
48/3 = 16
16/2 = 8
8/2 = 4
4/2 = 2
2/2 = GAR

31+ days

If each round last about one and half days, the contest will be about 45 days.



Make a cut off date - if your character isn't in something people know about by then, they can't be in the contest.

I think the poll is a good idea, Garfest requires a complicated organization, as we can already see, so a poll is an appropriate way to know if it's worth it.

Yeah, its been a while since we had some kind of contests(I don't even remember if this year we had a motemote but w/e) so I voted "yes". I like them, it makes the site a little more lively.
