I keep hearing about this from nerdy guys. For some reason, they can't tell 'when' its time to make the move.

Any hints on how to tell when a woman is DTF or DTC.

Me, I'll admit, I sometimes feel actually offended if they don't and the physical distance is too much. Like do you not like me??? or youre disgusted of me or something? I'm not talking about actual sex ok, just touching like holding someones hand or putting your arm around her, LITTLE stuff like that. But they do like... they just dont know when the time for it is.

Maybe they are nervous? Maybe they really don't how you would react or if your ok with it. Men can't read minds and a lot of women fail to understand that everything that is a "hint" to you goes WOOOOSHHH over guys heads. Sometimes being blatant and obvious is the best way to tell guys something.

In this case, why not make the move first? I'm sure he'd get it after that.

I had this kind of issues before I actually started giving a fuck about all those irrelevant problems like shyness and the likes.

I've been with my girlfriend for 8 months now, not much but we love each other, we never really argue about anything and we have a regular sexual life (first time experiencing this so I cannot really say how the sex is, looks great to me anyway :P ), it's the first woman I've ever been REALLY interested into and I liked her the moment we met for the first time, after 2 months we were engaged.

When I realized how much I like her, I just asked her out on a date and had phisical contact with her without the slightest problem, while I've always had problems with this since I've always been shy with the opposite sex.

Not with her though, it just felt all so natural! Maybe I just changed, maybe it was just that it was "her", I'm not sure, but everyone eventually gets over being shy and gets stuff done :)

Yeah but thng is it's not always with me. I mean mostly I hear them partnered up with nerdy people too, like these eh... Me when I hit on girls, I start off with light touches. like the hand, arms, then the waist. sometimes I'd slap them gently in the butt. then id full out hug em a bit. and if they dont resist then I just go for the kiss and take it from there.

Well, I know that this is essentially a dead topic, but Gravity Cat's amusing banter made me want to reply. It's a case by case thing, as a guy, you have to wait and watch their reactions tying to dissect their every movement when you feel that they may be comfortable with it, but that's it. It's a nerve racking endeavor, especially if you really do feel something special with her, you know that if you act too soon you'll seem creepy and undesirable , at a Barr minimum, presumptuous and prone to impulsivity, too late and you begin to wonder if they think you've lost interest or worse yet, that they already have. It's a gamble. For me, once it only took 10, maybe 15 minutes, another time almost a week before any real physical contact, so the correct time is variable, and yes, I've gotten it wrong before...

I'm one of those nerdy guys who can't tell if I should try to be more intimate.
The thing is that I know many girls who will hug me, sit close to me, and generally be very comfortable being very very close to me, but NONE of them want me in any way.. This is often also true for new girls I meet, and I have no idea if they want me, or just like to talk to me...
