k first are u using a mouse or tablet to vector?
if ur doing it with a tablet that's just a waste cuz ur lines from the pen or pencil will turn out fine but you may choose to use the vector depending on what your good at or like.
also try and connect ur lines so there ain't no gap of space, also play around with the pressure.
