Gorillaz - New Album Plastic Bleach

Well I searched and there doesn't seem to be a topic for this great band! Which is a sad shamely shame. So as some of you may know or not know Gorillaz is an animated band, created by Damon Albarn from Blur and Jamie Hewlett a famous british comic book artist. Their albums have a common theme of bringing in many guests, really it's like a group of very talented people coming together which results into something awesome :P The first album was good, the second album 'Demon Days' was amazing, and now they return with the oddly named but sure to be great album 'Plastic Beach'. So the album is coming out on the 9th March for the U.S I believe, the 8th for the UK. One of it's singles has already been released, named 'Stylo'. Want to listen to it? I'm a very big fan of Gorillaz, it's not the usual crap we have these days, and it's always refreshing to listen to, I only hope the third album continues this trend. Personally, I think this album is their worst (well, they only have 3...). Too much electronic stuff for my tastes.

I'm not super impressed by the whole album, but I do like a few of the songs on it.

Also I'm not super knowing with all things Gorillaz, so I'm wondering what the (3) Albums everyone keeps talking about are & what the rest would be called, what Re-Mix's ? In Alphabetical Order I have:
- Demon Days
- D Sides
- Gorillaz
- G Sides
- Plastic Beach
- Space Monkeys

Ohhhhh ma god I LOVE Gorillaz! Greatest band ever.

I can't wait for the On Melancholy Hill vid!

I like the album it's growing on me. Though I think it is not as good as Demon Days. I think there's just a little too much going on and its taken awhile for everything to sink in. Love the Stylo video though.

The Sides albums do have remixes, but they also have songs that don't appear on the other albums. Guess you can call them filler albums?

Actually, G Sides was produced specifically for Japan, due to the fact the Japanese thought it was an Albarn side project. Now they're worldwide.

This album really made me laugh out loud, because they had a song that feature Snopp Dog in the beginning, that really surprised me and it's so good. lol

I like the album, particularly Rinestone Eyes, Stylo, and Super-fast Jellyfish. I never get tired of listening to Bobby Womack as he sings in Stylo, which quite possibly has the greatest music video ever made.
