How easy is it for you to buy them in stores? (not including online)
because I'm finding resently alot of places have stopped selling them and only one place still does & they have reduced the stuff they're selling. The stuff they're selling is all comic addaptions and no original comics & their manga is like just 10 different manga and all volume ones.

I order them online or buy them at borders or Barnes and Nobel(Borders is better.)

So true. Only you can't whack weeboos over the head with baseball bats without getting in a lot of trouble. Still, its a nice dream.

I'm guessing they don't live in America or Japan.
Where I live in Britain there is only one store that sells comics and manga, but it's a very small section.
and why lolicons and bleach?
I for instance want to buy some Alien, Batman, & Predator comics mostly & for manga I bought v.1-7 of Death note & v.1 of Battle Royale I've been waiting 2 years for them to restock there shelfs so I can get further into them. I would do it online if only they mentioned what volume it was or give you some info about them to know it's the right one.

Wow! Its almost like there aren't any websites that sell comics online and list specific volumes! Too bad I can't seem to count either and figure out what volume I need next, making this whole process impossible. What comes after 7 again, i don't know lol

I here too many stories of people recieving there goods damaged from amazon.
I want to see the thing in my hands and have a good look at it before I buy it since most of the comics I think I might like I won't really know propally till I have a quick look at it 1st. online doesn't give me that all I have to go on is a cover if any and a name.

How are they dumb because they show up damage? I'm sorry but That's a dumb statement.
I hate having to call people up to complain about it if some thing is damaged.
& The whole question was about how easy is it to buy in store & not online.
Since I prefer to buy in store & have a good look at it 1st.

I assume they're dumb because they talk to you.
Secondly, Amazon sends return stickers along with your item so you don't even really need to call and complain, you just put the fuckin' thing on and send it back. What the hell.

Its a lot easier to buy online. You sit your ass down in your chair, you don't leave the house, you put your credit card number in and wait for your books. I get that you might want it immediately, but if you seem to be having soooo much trouble finding specific books then I really don't know what else to tell you. Quit being an idiot and just order them online, holy crap.

man you are such a giant douche can't you get what he is trying to say. He is saying that he wants the textual feeling before he buys to see what he is actually getting. I hate buying online too though I do buy online and regret it about 10% of the time & if I had actaully had look in store I would of been able to make a better decesion on whether to buy or not.
and if your shops have suddenly reduced or removed their stock of comics and manga there actually may of opened up a new store that sells comics in your location. That happened to me and it turned out a new comic shop had opened up and it was better than all the other shops combined.

youre right, going to a store and hoping they have something in stock is much easier than clicking a butan on internets.
also why does it matter if you can GET A GOOD LOOK AT IT when if it isnt satisfactory you can just return it anyway? esp since theyre just sitting in a warehouse somewhere and its actually far more likely something in a store would be damaged or greasy or something due to all the neckbears flipping through them.
true story once i was hunting for the Captain America omnibus by Ed Brubaker and the only store i found it in, it looked like someone had just grabbed it and beaten it against a table repeatedly. it also seemed to have aged about 50 years despite only being printed like 3 years ago.
then i ordered it online and it came in pristine condition
BUT HEY I MEAN YOU KNOW YOU CANT TRUST THOSE FREAKIN ONLINE RETAILERS
e: bookstores also often charge list price and you have to be a G.D. Moran to pay list price for something that isnt rare or out of print or something.

The type of damage that I get from amazon is like some one has taken a knife and plunged it into the book.
& agian he's saying it's about having it in your hands before you buy or asking your store to order it in most people I know are like that and it became so much easier when some where was selling in store & with these small comic stores they often keep some thing back for you if they know you will be wanting it later on though that's likely only to happing if you buy often enough that they get to no what you like and if you've been liking a series.

Edward you are a genius I google my home town and the word comics and it turns out there is a new comic store opened up though it appears to only sell comics and not manga but that's ok because there are more comics than manga that I want to buy.

Yeah I know man, I'm a huge douche for pointing out the idiocy of whining like a little rotten brat about being unable to get your greasy mitts on a comic in the middle of a store when you can find that specific book easily online with a fair and fast return policy.
I'm even more of a douche for linking him right to the comic he wanted more volumes of AND a detailed list of Amazon's return policy so he can throughly understand the security that comes with ordering from their site.
Fuck you.
The type of damage that I get from amazon is like some one has taken a knife and plunged it into the book.
Congrats on either purchasing from shady third party vendors or doing Super Saver shipping which not only takes forever but treats your property like it should be: purchased by a cheap piece of crap.
