The best singer in my opinion by far would have to be Journeys own Steve Perry. Another close would have to be John Lennon.

Couldn't agree more. Maynard is beyond anyone that I can think of. Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age is a good singer as well. Steve Perry is bad ass as well. :P

Gotta agree with you. Tool and APC are two of my favorites. If you haven't heard of them (you live under a rock) check out Sober (Tool) and Pet (A Perfect Circle).
