Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an American computer-animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero Green Lantern. The series is currently airing on Cartoon Network, as part of their "DC Nation" television block. A one hour sneak peek aired on November 11, 2011 while the official premiere of the series was on March 3, 2012, with a new episode airing every week since then. A special screening of the first episode was shown at New York Comic Con 2011 on October 15, 2011. This is the first Green Lantern television series and the first CGI DC/WB series. The first season is 26 episodes long, and consists of two 13 episode-long story arcs.
Don't let the cartoony CGI fool you, GTLAS is a greatly written show with an awesome plot.
It's currently on hiatus but will return with the rest of DC Nation on January 5th.

[color=#006FFF]The new episode was nice. I like how it introduced us to the one of Blue Lanterns' planets while bringing the conflict of the Man Hunters back to our attention, and rounding it all off with the crew getting back together again. The show's definitely been getting better as it's progressed.

Come on, really? Spoiler:
I love Razer alot in this series. And that is pretty rough that he learned to love again only to have Aya die. Many manly tears were shed today.

[color=#006FFF]Some incredibly disappointing and infuriating news regarding Green Lantern: TAS and Young Justice today.
It turns out that both shows have been cancelled.
Update: Green Lantern: The Animated Series producer Giancarlo Volpe has confirmed on Twitter that his series is in fact cancelled. Additionally, a Warner Bros. Animation rep has confirmed the cancellations to Newsarama. Meanwhile, fans have started petitions here and here to bring the shows back. Read on for our original report...

[color=#006FFF]Unless a petition gets through and they hold onto one or both of the shows, DC Nation will replace them both with the two upcoming animated shows, Beware the Batman and Teen Titans GO! Only one of which actually has my attention, but not nearly as much as the two on-going series'.
You can go fuck yourselves, Cartoon Network.

Petitions never work. And this sucks. Seems like we're heading into another "CN Real" situation.
