Grey Hound Or Flying?
-1
Ok since Fakku doesnt have a traveling thread ill just post this here.
So anyways some shit has went down where i live and i just wanna get away for a few weeks and see my dad, He currently lives in illinois and i live in kentucky. I would just drive there but eh my truck cant handle this speed and i SUCK with directions haha So i was talking with my mom and she think taking a bus there would be a better way of traveling there would be easier on me.
Money is not a problem but i just wanna find an easy way there.
My dad thinks flying would be faster but haha flying just to illinois? :P i would rather go on a bus.
But what do you guys think?
Would grey hound or flying be faster?
And if you could what would be the price range?
I live in Corbin Kentucky Woodbine, and he lives in Peoria illinois (If that helps any lol)

Flying would obviously be faster, and since money isn't an issue, you should go for them shorter trip.
Greyhound would be cheap but you would be stuck in that for a long time... And I means a long time. At least a day probably.
Them plane ride would probably take a couple of hours and you'll probably just fall asleep during it anyways.

Then where should this be posted? Hm, I think this post is more appropriate in Random question. Did offend you somehow? Pardon me if I used any inappropriate words in between my posts.

By way of the I-74/75 it's around 8 to 10 hours (through Indiana), so I'd say bus.
That- and flying is just a pain in the ass, really. Given the distance you're going, it's simply too much hassle.
Just bring a good book or a DS/PSP.

haha i dont own a PSP or a DS and i just sold my ipod today to i need to find some form of entertainment! :P
But i heard that flying would be faster and that the bus would be slower,
But the only thing i fear on flying is the crowded seats if you dont get first class and there is the fear of the plane fucking up and we all crash into a firey death, lol just saying.

I would rather fly.
I get the peace and quiet and I dont have to deal with crazies than I would on a bus.

Personally, I would rather not to go traveling.
It's tiring.
But if I REALLY have to go, then I'd pick the fastest mean of transportation available.

I hate TSA.
That's my subjective opinion though, I've never ridden a long-distance bus. I've flown a couple times and it was unremarkable. Takeoff and landing were cool though, if you like that kind of thing. I wouldn't fly again though, because of politics and TSA. But again, just my subjective opinion.

Bus is cheaper, but takes longer. plane has more crap to deal with(security checks, checked bags). you can be high/drunk on the bus if you keep it low key. better scenery on the bus.
Pro: you meet more interesting people on the bus.
Con: you meet more interesting people on the bus.
train cost as much as flying, but takes as long as the bus.
