GTX 760 Temperatures

So my GTX 760 Idle temps now are currently 40 degrees. Is that too high? Cause im wondering what happened cause it used to idle at 37 degrees when nothing goes on.
On load, i get about 60 degrees when I play darksiders II. Is that perfectly normal as well? Im just worried that I dont want my GPU to depreciate cause of the temps im getting when I play games or when its just on idle.
It used to idle at 37 degrees but now its just at 40 so im curious to know if I am still in the safe zone...
Not so sure if my OS or files have anything to do with it, but would a reformat of my system fix the problem if there is some background program running thats cause my GPU to work heavily?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds normal to me. My 560 Ti idles at 39. Under load it gets anywhere from 60-70.
If anything just blow the dust out of it.

Should I buy a can of air to blow the dust out of it? Or detach the cooler from the PCB and clean it manually and maybe re apple thermal paste as well?

You can buy a can of air and dust out your entire computer. If you are bored you can consider how your case directs air to make sure a healthy supply of cold air makes it to your graphics card. You could also try changing the location of your PC to see if it gets warmer or colder. Those numbers you posted are fine though.
In my experience re-applying fresh paste doesn't really help. However some has had some success. I think it depends on the brand of the card and what kind of paste they put on it themselves.
I think in the future when I decide I need a new card I'm going to get a waterblock and go liquid so I don't hear the fan.
