Wait . . . Jacob isn't a fan of yaoi, and I assume the majority of Fakku's frequenters aren't either, seeing as people didn't pitch enormous fits during the years that passed without any yaoi at all. I sense preferential treatment. Or a conspiracy. Yep, definitely a conspiracy. One that involves aliens, because they're all about anal probes and such.

Seriously though, I can understand not allowing guro. It's one of the rare genres (Is that the right word? Doesn't seem like it) that has an immense amount of diversity. It can be simple and relatively light-hearted, such as Bikko, the adorable girl that just happens to be missing a leg and eye. Or it can be downright damaging, like Mai-chan's Daily Life (or really, anything by Waita Uziga). Allowing any guro at all would involve a lot of subjectivity, and banning it outright is a lot easier than saying, "No guro that involves cutting people open" or "Only guro that doesn't involve death or dismemberment."

Besides, guro is very niche, and there are sites devoted exclusively to it. If you want guro, it's not hard to find it. I'm not saying that Fakku should only be unique, but Fakku not allowing guro isn't going to deprive anybody of anything. And it may keep some people from throwing up.

To be honest if they added guro to this site I would leave. Call me a coward or whatever, but I just don't want to see it.

Furry usually has human like animals, which adds a certain animistic charm to the character, so it is understandable. Loli while being about fictional children is still about enjoyment. Guro is just...well hurting the other person usually in very sick ways.. Can someone explain what people like about that?

NotReligious in a sense Guro is a hardcore extreme of S&M, It's the sadistic pleasure of causing harm to a person. Though that does not denote S&M as a whole to be about such things. Also the talk about preferential treatment of yaoi. And if the owner of the site doesn't like it, and so forth. The main concepts of yaoi can be translated to a multitude of Vanilla concepts, but with two guys instead of a guy and a girl. Also fuckeverything, that is one of my favorite doujins. In most cases majority rules over the minority, deal with it.

I was saying that there are a lot of people who don't want to see yaoi, I personally have no problem with it, I actually enjoyed that doujin if only for the lulz.

IB users are not all the users of FAKKU. There are many girls, and most of the girls likes yaoi.

Here at Fakku we try our best to please everyone, to offer a bit of something for every type of fetish but there is a limit that that attempt. I don't want to run into guro by mistake, it's not something I care for and I probably never will. I do not mind opening something with yaoi because I can simply hit back on my browser and am not really affected by what I saw on that page. Guro affects me; negatively, it's a cannot unsee that I would rather avoid. Tags are a good solution to that risk but they cant be counted on all the time as some translators and admins avoid tagging(or tagging properly). I think the service we provide now is fine and appeals to both our base readership and some of the niche groups but I would not enjoy Fakku if our range was broader at this point. I don't see Jacob changing his mind on guro any time soon and I hope most of you understand why.

Characters in hentai do. Do all hentai fetishes that exist also carry over to real life? Can they not just exist on the 2d realm without needing to have a 3d equivalence drawn?

I do dislike guro more than any other fetish, simply because guro rises beyond the realm of sexuality. I would actually group some harder rape and S&M stuff in with this, but wherever there is any real violence involved, that violence takes precedence over any sexuality.

I do have a pretty naive notion that sexual pleasure is a very pure form of happiness that results from the bond between two individuals. Or sometimes within one individual, you gotta do whatcha gotta do. Anyways, the violent aspect of guro and some others really defiles sexuality for me. I don't have the slightest problem with guro existing somewhere on the internet so that those who do enjoy can still access it, but preferably not anywhere I frequent.

But even if Fakku were to allow guro, I wouldn't leave. Between the manga and the forums, this place is just too great.
