Happy Halloween from the Land of the Rising Sun! Well since Halloween celebrations have already started here, I thought I might begin the thread here on Fakku. Since I'm a sentimental person and I miss the US, I thought I might ask how everyone else's Halloweens have gone or will go.Â
What'd you dress up
How was your candy haul? (If you had any)
PARTIES? HOW ARE THEY?
Just Post ANYTHING about your Halloween experience this year
AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Where I live, we don't celebrate Halloween. We simply don't have it.
Though, we do mourn our dead relatives that day.
Going to the graveyards, placing wreaths, candles and flowers on their graves.
Stuff like that.
It's not a happy holliday.
We do have a holliday when we dress up in all kinds of costumes though.
We have it in February.
A remnant of an....interesting battle some hundred years ago.
See, we were opressed by the Turks for many years.
There was a battle where we chased them out of a village by dressing up as devils, and all other kind of demons.
Interesting how similar a holliday can be, when it has a totally different meaning, eh ?

Where I live, not many people celebrate Halloween. There isn't much of a reason to go trick of treating or decorate the house.
I've never been to a Halloween party before.
How I celebrate Halloween is either play a game that has a ghost theme (e.g. Castlevania), or watch a classic movie like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.

Not fond of halloween unless I'm going trick or treating with an empty crate of booze on my head. Buuuuut I haven't done it for a few years because my friends are fucking pussies. (It actually works too, one year had an amazing haul)
My parents buy sweets for the trick or treaters which they always eat. They say I'm bad with sweets, but at least I have restraint. So buying sweets in this house gets expensive.

I've heard of all sorts of festivals that happen during Halloween, but I only know a few countries that host this. Which country are you living in? Sorry if this is personal, you don't have to answer

Boy do I know the feeling. Well Halloween here was pretty nice. Not as much candy as in the US, but there's plenty of partying and very good haunted houses as well.

I had to work, but I was invited to 2 parties, and to go trick-or-treating with my niece and little sister, unfortunately, I was stuck in an outlet mall, pointlessly being a manager, with no one to manage... (There are 3 employees, including myself, and we're all managers, pointlessly not managing anyone but ourselves... apparently the parties were awesome...
