Didn't really like any of the choices. I don't live with a girl and I don't leave the seat up. However, I also put the lid down.

When I was growing up my dad taught me "If you're going to have to put something down, she's going to have to pick something up." That is the philosophy behind putting both the seat and the lid down.

But seriously I don't see what the big fuss is. How about you girls LOOK before you site down? I don't assume the lid is up and start pissing all over the place. Don't get me wrong, I always put the seat and lid down when I'm done, but is it that hard not to check before you sit?

You should run in while he's taking a piss and slam the seat on his dick lol. Honestly, I've never really had a problem with leaving the seat up. Its not out of courtesy for other people, I'm just a little OCD when it comes to that, I guess.

I do put it down, though, along with the lid. It's a habit.

In my family, the seat and lid is usually left up, so I guess I may be unacustomed to doing it in the future. Like nations and organisations, each family or household have their own rules and customs too.

Kinda got it to be a bathroom habit, when I was little got scolded many times by my mother if I don't lift up the lid.

Yeah...my gf's rights to have the seat down don't outweigh mine to have it left up so basically we both just leave it in the state that's most convenient for ourselves. After all, it does only require about half the effort of washing your hands after and that's a lot more important.

Just pee sitting down too, that way you won't forget. It also minimizes "splash damage". I suppose that would only resonate with you if you're the one who cleans the bathroom.

Milady, you are upset because:
1) Your husband, in every tired morning, do NOT put down the 'seat' (i assume it is the 'u' shaped thingy type of seat)
2) You will be painfully seated on the toilet because the 'seat' is not down.


Someone clarify the above statement, i am not sure whether i really understand it but that what i imagined.

My conclusion:
Don't be harsh to him, talk and advice to him.
If that isnt working, then you can use the method you mentioned earlier.
Some people need extra beating to get the job done.
But first of all, do the friendly way first.

Put a piece of paper above the toilet that says Put THe Dam Seat Up.
So while he's pissing he gets something to look at.
