Its not really cosplay, but I do go to conventions in a Taokaka hoodie... With pants on of course.

I've only ever cosplayed as 'L' from death note. The funny thing was, it was an accident I went to MCM in London, half dead from lack of sleep and with a white long sleeve on wearing jeans, my hair is extremely long too, and it was in a mess. Someone came up to me to confirm that I was 'L' the girl I was with found this funny and put black makeup around my eyes, as if I didn't have dark circles already. This is seriously the most budget cosplay you can do. Give it a try.
Also: Everyone would probably love to, but unless you make it yourself, even a hat from a shounen costs £30 nowadays.

I might cosplay as Tobi from Naruto this Halloween and I've cosplayed once as Ike from Fire Emblem

I've cosplayed as Tobi and Ginko and my fiancee has cosplayed a lot more than me , her most popular ones were as Samus and as Revy from BL.

If I had to do it, I'd probably go with Luffy (One Piece), post-timeskip.
Why?
Both he has balls the size of the moon. And Luffy fits my personality of a prankster.

While I don't plan to cosplay, I do respect any cosplayers. Especially the guys who cosplay as female characters, that takes dedication.

I actually have! I cosplayed as Light Yagami from Death Note a couple of times. Though since then I haven't done it again.

yerp. as nano from nichijou, in her pink hoodie and jeans. not the cutest outfit she wears, but the most iconic, I think.

Ive always been interested in cosplaying but alas I'm not quite sure who to go as. If I had to chose a character it would probably be Aya Brea but that would require me to crossplay into normal street cloths so people would just think I'm a cross dresser.

Seen too many fat chicks in costumes that they have no buisness being in. I mean the costume looked good and all, but the poor girl looked like a overstuffed sausage. If I couldn't do the character justice I just wouldn't cosplay him/her.
