Have you ever thought that somewhere out there. A light years away from earth that there is something that looked like the earth and has the same human being like us and do the same way we do? But, We can't see each other because we haven't gathered much technology to go far outside? Do you think that there could be a possibility?

Having the same physical form is quite possible but having the same way of living such as culture, technology, and language is out of the question. Both worlds have varying history and as well as the evolution of humankind.

It would be interesting if sometime in the future we were to find a planet that is in an earlier stage of civilization. Say we found a planet that was in a World War 2 kind of state with similar factions to the ones we had on Earth at the time. Would we interfere, or would we simply stand back and observe?

Space is infinint, there has to be something out there.

I always liked the idea of the planet just being on the exact opposite side of the sun and we just never notice it even though its that close by.

Sure life takes place on other planets, however for humans the qualification list was very high for us to live. If you could find a system that had a planet with a livable atmosphere, and warmth from a local star, I would not be surprised if you found something like our species.
