Having a problem with my wii not wanting to read a disc

I have something of a small problem. My Wii is not wanting to read one of my games for whatever reason. I'm pretty sure it's not the Wii because it's reading all of my other games just fine. I tried wiping off whatever dirt or dust might have been on the disc but it still didn't work. I really hope it isn't a scratch on the disc because that means I'll have to get a new copy of the game. The error message that I'm getting is something to the effect of "Unable to read disc. Please consult Wii operations manual." Does anyone have any possible ideas about what might be wrong with the disc?

go to game stop and get it repaired for 4.99, or buy the disk kit.. 9.99.

Which game is it? Some high-data games (like Brawl) are double-layered discs, and are much harder to read than normal discs. My wii's disc reader pretty much broke, and we had to replace the disc reader, which costs $60-$80. But if it's just one game that's messed up, it's probably not the disc reader
