Hell On Wheels (another AMC show)

Has anyone watched the series Hell on Wheels on AMC? I'm really ridiculously obsessed with the show (not just because the main character is ridiculously good looking to my poor weak female mind lol)


It's generally got a very decent plot, good cinematography, and a great storyline.

Your thoughts?

The plot of the show is nothing new to me I am use to seeing the same story line on old western movies that AMC shows. Great cinematography though, I love the gritty and rough look that the story goes through.

My favorite character however is the freed slave, Elam (I think that is how you spell it?). Yes he is handsome, but he is also sneaky and cunning and I really enjoy the way they give him his own mind, usually in westerns they make the slaves meek and not have a mind of their own.

If you like this maybe you would like Hatfield & McCoys, that aired a couple months back.

Is there going to be more of it? i haven't seen anything about a third season. seemed like that last episode could be the end of it. all the sub plots were kind of wraped up, except for the sweede could survive, in a soap opera assumed dead but not quite enough to never come back, kind of way. the only other unfinished business would be the original revenge plot, but that was always a bit vague on the details.

i've not seen any commercials, and i couldn't find anything about another season on AMCtv.com.

They were signed on for a Season 3 but delayed due to one of the main people running the show not wanting to work on it anymore.

Glad to see it's back.
