I assumed as much. Be aware though that "Oyakodon" does not necessarily involve someone's mother. The kanji for it are "親子丼" which simply means "parent-child-bowl" which is neutral. When used in the sexual conotation they're usually changed to "母娘丼", "mother-daughter-bowl".
But you could just as well write it "父子丼", "father-child-bowl" or any other combination of those kanji....

but a clever, imaginative mangaka could keep himself (or herself) busy for
months just playing with all the possible variations of the Oyakodon theme.

For me there is this one Doujinshi that I constantly find myself coming back to time and time again called "Rebound Catch" by Okumoto Yuta. In this story there is a guy who is relatively short who attempts to ask out a girl named Katsuragi-san who is also the ace of the Girls basketball team. After a simple mistunderstanding, they engage in some sweet vanilla love below an underpass. What does it for me is just how beautifully compromised this girl is when being pounded by her now boyfriend. She is a good deal taller then the guy, wearing a Schoolgirl outfit (Which BTW really helps accentuate her feminine physique), and just thick in ALL the rights spots (i.e. Her Breasts, and her picture perfect Butt). Speaking of the outfit, I also really like how her uniform was mostly left on despite having both her breasts and her pussy exposed. It was if this guy really didn't know where to start working on his new girlfriend until he finally settled on bending her over against the wall and doing her from behind with some grade A Doggystyle action. I guess it's just the visual of a relatively short guy and a taller girl doing it that has me coming back to this story ever now and then primarily because I often see the "tall guy paired with a short girl" trope being used more often in doujinshi. This story in turn provided a nice reversal of character archetypes for me as well as featuring perhaps my favorite Hentai Girl. Gladly in this case the intervourse was consential and judging by the end of the story it seems as if these two have more in store for each other (Here's to hoping for a sequel to this story).
